As I made a SP, I found doing that replacement is VERY beneficial because with the amount of buttons you need to "click" get tedious and hard to do on 5-6 keys, so 12345(6)qe allow you near a full action bar of mobility and proves extremely useful. But the only downfall is, sometimes you press q/e to strafe (if you've never changed them) and it'll screw ur rotation up... badly sometimes.

A programmable mouse is almost a NECESSITY if you occasionally find yourself on a laptop. Trying to hit buttons while on a laptop is sooo frustrating. TY for going back to the basics... I always pick up new stuff in your videos...

+Corporate Mundo they don't have to be clickers for that to happen and you cannot go by lfr dps when determining if someone is good. they may be coasting because it is too easy and they are just gearing up(hell ppl go afk for that reason), or they could be trying and alt, spec or talent for first time practicing in lfr, or just be under geared comapred to higher dps in the raid etc... that said, if you click you suck, is definitely true

This is a great video for beginners, I wished I had this kind of tutorial before I learned everything the hard way, but something that you have to know is that you need a minimum of 5 Mousebuttons, LMB,RMB, Two side Buttons and Mousewheel, everything else is optional if you care to use Control and Shift. I am currently at 2.1K with my 3on3 Team and well I have been playing with my Deathadder for about 4 years now.

You dont need a mouse...You can bind all you'r keys on the keyboard and do just fine!

Binding all of your spells and commands on the keyboard is just dumb. Keyboard is only needed to access your spells that you have binded to a modifier. The Razer Naga does the rest of the work. There is simply not enough modifiers on the keyboard to get the rest of the work done so the Razer Naga is great for that part. Plus Swifty does not use a keyboard for World Of Warcraft he uses a Razer Orbweaver key pad so casting spells for him is slighty harder but he uses the macro's to help him do multiple combo spells to dominate. I am a FPS gamer and I did play World Of Warcraft in my spare time but I wasnt really motivated to play as often as Swifty does but once you talk to pro players you get whats going on with their key bindings and gear.

actually, alot of people do it. i did it for years, and worked fine for PvE. BUT, using a mouse works way better, and for PvP its not even a question. if you only use your keyboard in PvP, your gonna get wrecked.

The Logitech G600 is way better than any naga, I highly recommend it. Same number of buttons as well.

Great vid. As a noob I would not use my mouse at all. I had my abilities bound to my num pad and wasd was on my left hand spells on the right. Needless to say I almost always got smoked in PvP. Watching this is helping me change bad habits since I started playing again.

you dont need Q and E for strafe at all, you can bind them. You can use A and D (if your movement binds are those ofc)

Good video there. I used to have a Naga mouse, but it died on me. I have a n52te game pad, and when I had my Naga I would use the game pad for movement and a few key key binds and my mouse for the main key binds. Now, I'm stuck usin my mouse for movement while using the gamepad for keybinds. It sucks, but I can't afford to replace the mouse. Looking forward to other videos in this series.

Been using this mouse for 2 years, never going back to any other. I don't use all of the keys, but i do use at least 9 (7 and 9 are a pain for my huge hand over long fights and 10 is too much a reach too; sometimes click on another keybind accidentally).

I use my mouse wheel to Charge, Bloodthirst on wheel roll up, Wild Strike wheel roll down, Raging Blow wheel click, and have all the other abilities on Q E R T F G Z X C 1 2 3. Works pretty well for me. I do the same for Arms spec with different abilities.

It's a little key pad. You bind keys to it, and then you don't have to reach up to the numbers to use your skills, or wasd to move around.

hey swifty This video was very helpful I have played Wow For so long but i have always been casting and i learned to play with the arrow keys and the mouse nothing else i got into the habbit and couldnt get out Insted of relearning to use keybinds and the wasd keys I would find ways to get better at pvp it got to the point where I can Do pvp just fine as clicking but I got stuck in a rut and couldnt get any better until this video helped me get used to not clicking

YES! Like Swifty says, you can macro all of the keys on your mouse!! While someone with a 2-button mouse is frantically spamming macros/typing/clicking on the screen, someone with a 17+button mouse would be lightning fast! However, a nice mouse could run you an easy $80+. But yes....... the advantage, if done properly, would be phenomenal against someone with a 2button mouse!

It decreases the detail you see. You need to be able to read certain animations like a hunter setting up a trap even if you're piled onto him. It sometimes isn't the best choice to see many things if a few details contain everything you need to know.

you can use the buds you get with it to form a cross , it will make it easyer the first 2-3 days you play with it , after that it shoudnt be a problem playing with it

If you're playing MMOs or any game that requires a fair amount of keybinds then yes. Hell, you can even bind your items in LoL to the buttons on the mouse. It's worth it.

You don't need a razer naga. Just bind your spells to your keyboard. I bind W,A,S,D,R,T,F,G,Z,X,C,V,B,1,2,3,4,5, `, F1,F2,F3, F4, to spells, and then you can use those keys with shift. I don't bind Q and E so I can strafe. And I use left and right click to move. You don't need an expensive mouse to get good at pvp.
