you remove the nock back from thunderstorm becaus its realy anoying when your in a dungeon for the tank to scater them en for melee dps

Half of the glyphs mentioned have been there since Wrath. Shamans have always been able to walk on water. The spellreflect grounding glyph have also been there for a long time, in addition to reflecting, it also increases the cooldown by a significant amount, which rendered it unused throughout Wrath and Cata, or whenever it was introduced.

hmm any reason why earlier on the dummy you were doing 80k lava bursts as the shifted form, and when you were showing the same skill on a 85 player , it ws only hiting for 17k? yes you were in shifted form there too. Whats causing sucha huge decline? is it the lack of pvp power?

just wanted to let you know that shamans can currently drop all 4 totems at once, and none of them are decoys, weve been able to since wrath came out i believe or maybe it was one of the patches during wrath

did u try enhancement shaman? as far as i remember enh shammy was always the lamest class for arenas, had a decent burst, but still it wasnt enough with that low survivability, hopefully it will be changed in mop.

The Lava Burst spam is due to three things, One is Ascendance which removes the CD of Lava Burst for 15 seconds. Secondly if the shaman has Flame Shock on the target the DoT can proc Lava Surge and refresh the CD of Lava Burst. Lastly an ele shamans mastery ability allows two of the same spell to be cast with the second one costing no mana.

I have a level 40 shaman, and I think I understand what you mean by OP. I actually hit around a 3,266 crit once. I was really surprised, it just hopped from about 300 from a previous spell to 3,266 from Lightning Bolt, I think. This video confirmed my suspicions. Not to mention, that's not my highest crit. I think I made it up to about 4,000 at one point, but I wasn't paying close attention at the time. Is a crit like this normal for most character. I expected this from a rogue, but not a shaman

swifty, as for echo of the elements talents, it can reproduce the mastery procs as well which as u probably know it has a chance to do the same s LightBolt, LavaBurst, ChainLight, or ElementalBlast at 75% of initial damage, so the echo of elements can proc of mastery, which can proc the mastery again, which can proc echo again, and i believe blizzard capped it at 4 repeats

I'm sure its been said but grounding can already be glyphed to reflect spells but it also increases the CD on grounding, also in pvp apparent from reflecting CC which is very useful grounding is best used (by resto shams) to stop hard casts being interrupted so it isn't really that great also if you are kiting a dk and drop it to get their DG if its glyphed to reflect it just brings the dk to you so not as good as you may hope.

FYI Swifty....the purpose to take the knockback away from Thunderstorm is for PVE purposes. You don't always want to knock back your enemies when you are trying to aoe them down. It knocks them away from the tank and out of the AOE.

Guild wars has hotkeys too, you know. The abilities on the hotbar, and the numbers that activate them. And I'll say this again, as technology grows, so too does WoW. Even as we speak Blizzard is working on new character models, reskinning zones, etc... Have you seen the pandaren island? Beautiful.

Swifty I've been a shaman for almost 6 years now....you won't regret it, and I know you were attracted to elemental, but gives so much satisfaction 8 people hitting you and not killing you cuz you heal so much, and as enhancement Windfury will give kills when you least expect it. I I like being a "Sona-LoL" type character in wow, I give buffs and mana regen as resto, and make melee/range strong as enhance + it's fun. We can't tank tho, would be OP. And gearing is super easy.

There is two reasons for wanting rid of the knock back in thunder storm. 1. If you are raiding and you do that the tank will hate you 2. hyou could knock back a mob to far and agro more then the tank can handle.

And waterwalk/ghostwolf glyph basically saves you 1 gcd when wanting to use both of them together. Big friggin' deal. Would've been cool if he went into more detail concerning about UF and PE ultimate talents (other imbues, Earth Elemental).

i feel that shamans arent doing as much damage as id like them too, mainly enhance spec. even in cata with full tier, and doing the rotation exactl what your suppose to so you can get the max out of all your spells, and it still was a huge challenge to get 20k dps. im still struggling to get over 20k in mop. like wtf.

grounding totem glyph always was able to reflect 1 spell but it increases the cooldown by 35 seconds

The glyph for Thunderstorm is mostly for PvE cuz its so annoying if someone kicks them away from your aoe.

It's a new spell, at lvl 87 shamans get Ascension. it's a really bad ass cool-down [2 minutes]. For ele your lava burst has no cooldown. it only last for 10 seconds.

switfy, that Thunderstorm glyph is for PvE... you dont want to be knocking mobs around so the tank loses control. Its purely for some AoE dmg PLUS its a method to restore a significant amount of mana. You obviously wont be using this glyph in PvP
