Nice stand. If It was mounted over the back wheel above the mudguard, it might make a nice seat for going down hill and then when folded under, it becomes a stand so the scooter does not fall over. It will need a quick release strut each side to the folding hinge. Quick release spindles to allow fitting into a smaller protective bag for travelling by removing front wheel. Also to take wheels off for puncture repair. Leave frame tied up outside and carry wheels into restaurant / café. Front brake calliper should be able to quick release to remove wheel. Quick release hinge spindle to allow complete removal of the back end? Who would steal that? LOL Maybe the handle bars would need to fold back for going down hill sitting? Like the tiller of a boat? Will it take off if I put wings across the foot board? Just trying to suggest ideas with a sense of humour. Do I get a discount if I buy one?

Great instructions and the quality and carefully thought out design of the scooter and fenders was a joy. That said I personally would add a tab of LockTite on each screw and nut as it prevents them from vibrating loose. If loosening still occurs (doubt it will) I might swap out the regular nuts for nylock nuts.

Is there a video guide for installing the mudgards on the Swifty ONE? I’m having trouble following the written instructions(particularly with regards to removing the brakes- the written instructions do not specify how to do this).

@@SwiftyScootersTV thanks for your response, that’s good to know in future. I managed it by myself in the end, it just took me a long time to untangle the instructions. As an autistic person, I really struggle with vague and overwhelming instructions! Got there in the end though 👍🏼

I tried this on the swifty one marine. It was a nightmare to remove the wheels. I almost hurt my wirst the bolts are so tight and in the process ruined the beautiful blue of the axle. I really don't know what to do.

What no mud flap for front guards? LOL
