Hey I totally appreciate the note. I do think we'll get there one day but right now I don't have the staff to transcribe full episodes. We do caption longer clips that appear on the downside instagram and tiktok and for sure will keep in mind once the podcast grows big enough to start transcription for full episodes

Because it gives you a deep sense that that's how it's "supposed to be". I want judges to be impartial and apolitical! And I think it's good that people feel indignant when the real world doesn't live up to the idealized version they were taught to believe in as children. It seems like the alternative, where we abandon all attachment to the idealized version and just accept that it's all shades of gray and corruption, that's partly how we get all of this Trumpy nonsense. We should be striving to make our institutions more like the idealized versions rather than just accepting that the norms don't mean anything and it's all a fiction.

Or maybe it’s some psychological thing where feet are usually covered up and so it’s a “forbidden” thing?
