Jesse it is nice to see someone who is actually concerned about their senior horses, and you still do things with her. That is why she was so happy. You are very careful that you do not over work her and yet she can enjoy varied activities. You can tell she feels good and looks good. Dappling does not happen when a horse is in poor shape. Kudos to you. Everyone should love their horses like you do.

Love this. Such great shape for her age. Love seeing her energy and excitement in her ears and eyes. I had to say goodbye to my 30 yr old TN walker in February. Not a show horse. Saved her from that horrible life when she was 9 mos old. Strictly pleasure, so she lived a very lazy and peaceful life and brought me so much joy. She lost her stablemate in 2015. They had been together since she was 9 mos old... Then she went blind in one eye 3 mos later, then the other eye 5 mos later. She was able to make her way around in the pasture and barn somehow. She wanted to run so bad and sometimes she would but not far cuz she knew she couldn't see. I was terrified she would break her leg or neck but she ended up with a twisted gut, or more likely lipomas on her colon from age. She was a beautiful girl and I miss her and her "sister" everyday. Horses have been part of my 62 yrs since I was 3 yo. Always my favorite pets.

Andora clearly loved her sea adventure with you, Jesse! She's looking wonderful in every way, let alone for a 28 yr. old. Him and Matt have the best real bond between rider and horse. They KNOW how it should be. They take such good care of their horses. You can tell the horses have great respect and love for their riders and vice versa. Whenever I see him and Matt train, it seems the horses actually enjoy learning. Such golden communication and relationships 💯♥️

It was really obvious how much Annie was enjoying playing in the small waves and then venturing deeper. Swimming with horses is one of my favourite things to do. We used to go deep enough that they couldn’t touch the sand and had to swim which they loved. We would hold onto a handful of mane so that we didn’t get washed off over their backs with the moving water. ( makes me think I must have been quite small when I did that.) Then a bareback gallop on the hard sand finished off with a roll in the soft sand. A great way to start the day.

I lost my old boy when he was 42! Up until about a year before he passed we were still going out, just for an hour once a week, but I'm convinced that was what kept him going so long. Having the mental stimulation and a job to do. Well Done Annie.

I ride a 31 year old thoroughbred with good feet, no arthritis, and a full mane and coat. I call him my miracle horse because he's as excited as Annie is here whenever he's out and about. We mainly do flatwork but his favorite thing is to romp around the field and go trail riding. He's a very careful horse so I trust him to take care of us both on the trails. A few weeks ago he took off at a gallop after another horse who was cantering down a flat bit. Fastest I've ever gone before lmao!

This was one of the best videos I’ve seen! I have a 27 yo Arabian gelding. He’s full of spice and I ride him several times a week. I just can’t thank you enough showing that senior horses are great and still want to be out and enjoy life! I use the Natlanta bitless bridle on him and he loves it. What an awesome video.

Jesse you are so fun to watch. I love the way you truly love your horses and take care of them, and share their life experiences just like they're your children. It's so refreshing. I say to people all the time, why don't you talk to your animals, talk to them in a soothing voice so that they feel comfortable. But I see so many people who just have their horses for their own entertainment, and I think the animals should be entertained as well, let them know that they're a part of your life because they want to be as well, not just because they have to be.

One of our dear horses lived to be 32. Her name was Nugget. She was an American Paint. When children would visit she loved patiently letting them ride on her. Andora is always gorgeous. Your love and care help her stay young and still very healthy. LOL Is that water cold? I live at the beach in Florida where our ocean is warm. She certainly had a wonderful time.

This makes me feel all the feels. Said goodbye to my 29 year old Anglo Arab this year. He had a heart problem and was my first horse i bought at got. I have my 19 year old 14.1 arab mare still and she also loves to go! You can tell that you have taken great care of yout horse and she still loves to be with you! She looks great.
