If you purchase a property, especially in the Netherlands but in other countries as well, be sure to go HIGH, as in elevation. Flooding is already an issue everywhere, and low places should be avoided. Be a refuge from the storms and ocean levels that are coming, not a reservoir. No low place will be safe for horses. 👍🏼

Hey guys! I think you should do exactly as you want to do with the private jet matter. The property you looked at was beautiful but it was early days then and hopefully you’ll have a lot of options ahead. It sounds like there is a place that you’re very interested in. One thing I noticed is that you don’t seem to be really stressed out about finding a place. I just remember your video when you let all of us know that you had sold your home and then when you were moving. It was such a stressful time. That was a really beautiful place, but it's completely understandable and very smart that you recognize it wouldn't work long term. And I say if you can do a collab and get to ride to Paris in style on a private jet, GO FOR IT! Take it from this older lady, who will be 52 on Monday... I am a retired Interior Designer and people always say, just renovate it to suit you. Renovations always cost much more than the budget, because of hidden issues once the demolition starts. Suddenly, plumping, electrical, rotten wood, insect 🐜 infestations and most common, the roof needs to be replaced. For such a big place I would recommend at least two reputable independent building inspectors and an engineering report. I’m not saying you didn’t think of that already, it’s what I would recommend to a client. But I’m just a fan on the internet. I love that you are happy 😊. I am living vicariously through you guys so my husband laughs at how invested I in your lives I am. I’m terminal and my life was pulled out from under me. I am the type of person who acknowledges when something is funny, but rarely laughs out loud. There is always at least one thing in these Unstable videos that gets me laughing every time (Pedro Pedro Pedro did it!). I keep saying that you two balance each other so well - you actually augment one another. About the jet: think about it really hard, then stop thinking about it - even sleep on it. The right answer will come. As for the property you showed: yes, it was beautiful, but its purpose was to give you a jumping off point. You know what you want and you know where you need to be flexible. Your decision will be the right one because you both bring your own unique talents and perspectives in making the final decision. Risey did great! The first time picking up his feet to be cleaned, and had a blanket put on him. My young TB was much more stuborn and tried to avoid being blanketed. Risey was looking normal - - my Thoroughbred actually tried leaning on me when I asked for his foot. Pinching his chestnut softly will also help him raise his foot.

I love the unstable podcast! I have been to places that have ADU’s (adjacent dwelling units) for people who need to stay on the property for a period of time. Some were sort of tiny houses, and one place that had two beautiful Gulf Stream trailers. The tiny house and the caravans were hooked up to water and sewage, and had full (but small) kitchens, showers etc.-everything a guest would need without entering the main house (owner’s privacy protected). I know there is a lot of hullabaloo regarding ADU’s, so depending on where you live would dictate adding ADU’s to your property.

The first 1/2 of this one is the most UNSTABLE of all the Unstable vids so far! Hahaha! Loved the chaotic energy of it. Thanks for taking us on a journey to the first property you looked at! It was indeed a beautiful place! And it's the perfect place... For someone. But that someone isn't you guys and there is nothing at all wrong with that. It's like dating. Every person you (the royal "you") date just shows you what you are and aren't looking for, what is and isn't acceptable, what is and isn't a deal breaker, etc., until you find the one that has just the right combination for you. You know they are the one for you, and it's because of everyone who came before that you know. It doesn't mean all the ones that came before are bad, some were undoubtedly wonderful and perfect for someone, just not the one for you. The same goes with house hunting!
