Sometimes I despair over cricket highlights. I mean, they cut to the very last ball, just as it’s being bowled, and plaster KZbin banners across the screen. You can’t tell what’s happening or see it even if you could.

With Leicestershire at 89-6, I thought proceedings might be concluded by mid-afternoon but it is amazing how a match can largely be turned on its head by one player, in this case Harry Swindells. Dismissing Dawson very near the end was a key moment which somehow surprisingly didn't make these edited highlights.

Looking at these highlights, Hampshire had a massive hold on the game when Leicestershire were 19-4 and should have gone on to dismiss them pretty cheaply, but even by the end of Leicestershire's innings, 267 didn't look anywhere near enough to win, how Hampshire contrived to lose this game by the smallest of margins is a mystery to me, that trophy really should have been coming back down south today
