Without seeing the broadcast & only seeing it from the in-car, I'd have to say Buddy was probably a little low & didn't give Brad enough room & I really like Buddy just being un-biased. If you re-watch it Buddy is nowhere near the front stretch wall & he started on the outside row but accidents def happen in racing

@@jaredkinneyjr agreed. from the in-car Buddy appears to be behind the pole sitter and way lower on the track than the guy he started behind (Macedo). I like both drivers just stating that my observation is that Buddy came down more than Brad came up

Very few people who have watched Buddy Kofoid race would say he won't be a Champion. Next January he'll maybe win the Chili Bowl. Then in the summertime, Knoxville Nationals with the winged 410s. USAC, NASCAR, INDYCAR, and many other possibilities.

I think that if you watch the replay, you’ll see that Sweet came up the track into the 39. Kofoid was holding his line (which he has every right to do). The thing that makes me mad is when some of the outlaw guys think you ought to just back off because they have their own thing going. I say, you know what you signed up for so quit crying and watch the replay.

Agree about the contact, he's super talented, Brad, if he watched it will answer his own question. Not Buddy at fault. Super talented. I can do it too tho. I'm not as talented as Buddy yet, but I have always been able to learn fast, just wish burg would have layed off the water in the middle. Didn't always do it like that bad before. I know it gets loaded up there and why, but c'mon hometrack! You know what you gotta do, nobody likes it but that track condition was crazy rough and you had the rollers again on the back and frontstretch!

That track was in terrible shape. Kind of dangerous in those turns. Get someone there that knows how to prep a track for you. Made for an interesting night for Buddy. Great job bro.

Around 3:45. SERIOUSLEY??????? Young driver doing a report on how the car is "working" and crew chief is listening. What is more important, social media or winning the race???????I am not sorry that I would never tolerate that driver having a cell phone and relaying data to me with "that" distraction in his hand. Hell NO!!! I deal with employees under me that abuse social media and it pisses me off. YOU are paid to work not be socializing. Put the phone in the truck and drive the car. I have a real problem with the younger generation not being able to focus due to Mommy and Daddy putting a smartphone in their hand.
