Hey everyone, it has come to my attention there is a bug with this ride. The stats do not populate since the train does not return to the original station, even worse it affects all rides present in the same way. I am currently looking for a fix. Currently the only solution I have is to close this ride until your park is complete then opening it it last after allowing it to complete a circuit. It seems to allow stats to populate up until it's shoestringed.

The solution is to break the control track. The game essentially treats any shoestring ride as an incomplete circuit (I believe that's the logic). If the ride is in powered launch without passing station mode, which is the mode I usually use for my ferris wheels, then I guess once you have the track ahead of the station reach an end, rather than an infinite loop, the game is able to start calculating stats. I usually do my break on the part before the loop but after the part where you break off the first car(s) and send the train up to the loop. Wow! Amazing tutorial Watercooler! Love the format, on how you kept it concise and easy to follow. Shoestringing is something I would like to get into in order to make custom rides, but its still a little difficult for me. Also love Mr.Bones :)

I remade the ride but it doesn´t get ratings and other rides in my park don´t get ratings anymore either. Do you know a solution to this?

Seems a bit complicated to tile inspect while the ride is running. When I make similar rides, I set up a pair of reverse spikes for repeatability.

Fortunately you only have to do it once. The downside of reverse spikes is that the mass could affect the outcome (lots of guest sitting on the back of a long train would push the train further), and that it takes up more space. With the method that Watercooler used, it can be made very compact, to allow more shoestringed rides right next to it.

i had the same problem check ur track placement look at the track when he puts them down i had them in the wrong order i went bk and watch the placement see what goes on top and what goes on bottom it wrk after id checked them out good luck. great video also thanks water cooler
