@@NowhereMan7 harmonizing three voices while playing instruments is hard to do. You must be able to keep your steadiness while actively listen to everyone else. Also, when you are playing live, there is a chance you don't hear your/your bandmate's instruments and voice that well; and if one fails, he might drag the others into failing.
@andyzehner3347 Жыл бұрын
@@guillelopez4222 Millions of musicians can do than. Many learn to do it while they are teenagers. All the Beach Boy fan/apologists in this thread are just being silly. they should all be content to say 'I like accessible pop music!" rather than claiming that what they happen to like is exceptional. It isn't. I'll say it again: Millions of musicians can harmonize and play instruments. And millions of musicians can perform together in ensembles.
@guillelopez4222 Жыл бұрын
@@andyzehner3347 difference is the red hot is not a Beach Boys cover band; they are a rock band with a distinctive sound who never trained to harmonize their vocals like that. And yet, they have the chops to pull it off while playing and putting on a good show. Denying the talent it requires means not being aware yourself of what it all entails.
@andyzehner3347 Жыл бұрын
@@guillelopez4222 No. There's no difference. Singing in harmony while playing an instrument is quite ordinary. MILLIONS of musicians do it very well. Anyone who CAN'T harmonize while playing any instrument shouldn't call themselves a musician at all. The RHCPs have done it often before, as they do on "By The Way." This cover of a Beach Boys tune doesn't stretch them at all.
