Phantom has always been very good. He's merely very good, though, not crazy strong. Texas brings tremendous arts damage and CC, while Yato's S2 focuses more damage into a tiny window than almost anything else in the game, with the added bonus of melting large bosses.

@@gFx-bl4qn Indeed, that part is what always makes me wary in using merchant specialists. I know they got pretty strong niches in return, but can't always stay looking at DP during a battle XD. For me, instead of Swire Alter S2, might as well use a buffed up Chongyue S3 instead. Just gotta adapt!

@@gFx-bl4qn Hahaha, well, it depends on our setup too, i guess. I usually play with DP heavy operators like mudrock, horn, fedex... and then also need the slot (and also DP) for the fast redeploy nukes like Texalter and Kyato.

She's the specialists answer to Chongus. Cross-area perma coverage with solid damage and her cost-based immortality is just icing on the cake. Even without a DP printer just a couple redeployments make her so easy to have immense staying power. I was waiting anxiously for Typhon, but this showcase now makes me want to pull for Beach Swire (not to be confused with b*tch Swire, her original self lol)

I was planning on rolling until I got both, usually I go for spark to "catch up" but I've already got gavialter and chen alter. I keep forgetting swire alter is a 6 star though, she strikes me as a 5 star until I see her kit.

A single hit in phase 1 burns 4 lives at once, I don't think we have sufficient DP for her to buyback that many times.

For S1, she only heals whenever she attacks I think, and with a "cooldown" of 3 seconds because of the coin mechanic. She can also only heal somewhat damaged operators

yes and no, first off most Action skills share the attack timer, but she can bank 3 heals, so think of it like a mini guardian s1.

When she's KO'd, rather than retreating she consumes a certain amount of DP and heals to full. This number doubles every time she's downed, but is reset when she's retreated. (Also her S1 is a self-heal in case you were asking about that lol)

It's questionable whether taking down emperor's blade on normal difficulty is meaningful in the current environment; it's a boss that is exceptionally weak to assassin's attacks on normal difficulty, and can be done with croos alter with the right amount of camouflage. Ray is a character who could single-handedly take down PATRIOT and ENDSPEAKER if she invested enough, yet she was harshly criticized for not being able to do it at level 7 with no additional stats from TRUST points. She doesn't even have a module. In this inflationary environment, how much can swire alter do in exchange for wasting costs like water? Above average performance, of course. But to take the extra risk for SWIRE even when you already have EYJABERRY... I really want to stop you, and if it were my brother, I would physically stop him.

The point isn’t that she can take him down, it’s that no matter how many times he attacked her she was able to stay on the field purely cause of her immortality, she was even able to survive I. The middle of 4 strikers attacking her and she wasn’t killed a single time in the video despite the amount of enemies that attacked her
