Bronny is tough, numbers do not tell the full story. He has a deep bag and shows it in flashes. Triple threat 3s, pull up 3s, off the dribble 3s, transition 3s, catch and shoot 3s, lockdown defenses, dimes and finishing. His base is an athletic player, with a handle, a smooth jumper that has solid IQ and LeGenes. He has everything to dominate at his position and it’s a matter of time before he flips that switch. He is hooper. It could be 1 more year in college or 2+ years in the NBA before we see him averaging 15 pts, 5 ast, 5 reb. All the hate is bad for hoop culture.
@self-_-69714 ай бұрын
nah man the handles aren’t there yet, but you’re right the averages don’t tell the whole story he became the defensive hustle guy for usc and scored when he could. His handles aren’t exactly up to par which is why he wasn’t drivin so much later on in the season, he couldn’t figure out the form for his shot which is why he shot less than 30% from 3 on the season. imo he came into the season too quickly and should’ve just redshirted to get a better grasp of the college game. there was so many times on offense when you’d see he wants to cut but was hesitant or that he had space to shoot a 3 but again hesitated, we’ve seen him hit middys too but he strayed away from those bc he couldn’t create enough space or didn’t get enough height on his shot
@that_Jarry4 ай бұрын
@@self-_-6971 Agree with your points. Except the scoring when he could, he can score even more if he stops f******* hesitating. The most annoying part of his game for me is the hesitation, he thinks too much out there, bro could just play through the mistakes more tbh His handle has room to improve too
@self-_-69714 ай бұрын
@@that_Jarry oh definitely, i guess when he was worried about turnovers and missing so much he stayed with the play, if he develops a better form and a smoother handle he won’t be as hesitant when shooting and just to commit to a cut too. We’ll just have to wait and see the off-season between freshman and sophomore is important.

Would you be calling Bronny "tough" if he wasn't Lebron son? Bronny is shooting 26.7% from 3. Some of the games he plays in, he doesn't even score. I'm having a hard time believing that if he had any other name ppl like you would be calling him a good player or "tough." I am rooting for the kid to accomplish his dream but he is not good enough yet. Keep putting in the work and maybe one day he will be.

@@SixerIverson04 What you expect a father to say about his son??
@tdjkhazard45224 ай бұрын
Demar already made it into the NFL without having a billionaire dad who’s arguably the greatest in his sport constantly trying to bribe teams to draft his son by saying wherever he gets drafted that’s where he’ll play. Or saying that he could easily play on a pro team before even getting a college season under his belt. That’s a major difference (and disrespectful as hell on LeBrons part). Objectively, he wouldn’t have been a top 10 mock draft pick if he wasn’t LeBrons son, or even a 2024 draft prospect for that matter based on his performances. That’s what people are pissed about. Nepotism. I’m not saying it doesn’t make it right to go out one’s way to diss him in comment sections but at the same time, it is somewhat understandable. Especially considering that there are several NBA hopefuls who, more likely than not, got overshadowed by Bronny at some point despite being more deserving of recognition. I myself think that Bronny should be a 4 year college player before declaring for the draft because by then everyone will have a fair amount of film to go off of. Right now it’s far too soon to logically believe that he’s NBA ready
@CN-gw5nt4 ай бұрын
@@tdjkhazard4522 Do you really think Bron thinks his son can compete and beat out NBA players right now, especially after a near death experience? Of course not, but again, what do you expect a father to say about his son in that situation? You expect him to say his son is trash and overrated like yall think he is? Cmon now. Thats what a great father does, speak life and positivity into their children.

He’s getting the best advice on what he should be doing , He’s not trying to show the world how good he can be yet , he’s practicing how to be a leader & he’s done a good job. At SC he was mainly trying to get ppl open if you noticed . He wasn’t forcing up shots . He was being patient with the game so he’s average numbers right now ain’t nothing like how he’s gonna be coming in the NBA . In reality Bronny will probably find a roster spot in the league easier than a lot of the other prospects, just off the strength of his archetype being what's in the most demand in the league which is a 3 and D. Every team needs multiple 3/D's. Plus he's athletic, can facilitate/HighQ, and is elite at perimeter defense. He just needs to find his shooting consistency back. But yea he's getting a role before a number 1 option that can't defend nor play off ball. Every team in the league got their number 1 option already.
