Swiss Family Tries First Local VEG LUNCH In HYDERABAD 🇮🇳

Is food really this great here in Hyderabad? We are about to find out what regular local food fare is made of. Of course we did have a very tasty breakfast already as well as very great and famous Biryani (check the videos) but you never now. Lunch is the queen of foods if you consider dinner being the king. Let's try some vegetarian local lunch foods here in the capital of Telangana and find out.

It really feels awesome to see you guys enjoying Hyderabadi food. And there are lot more gems out here to try out... I defenitely would think that you guys would like the Andhra cuisine (A region of the telugu state, Hyderabad is in Telangana). And aside that, when it comes to the old city it is an amalgamation of different cuisines ! You will find a lot of delicacies there and there wont be any compromise on taste. Recommended Spots: Hotel City Diamond In Mehidipatnam ( one of the best forbidden meat biryani in the town) Gol Masjid ( You'll find a variety of street food joints there) Barkas Area ( You'll find the best Mandi restaurants there) Al ham du lillah hotel near nampally ( Famous for its talwah gosht (fried meat) ) And as its the time of Ramadan I would recommend Hyderabadi Haleem as well, which is quite famous. There's a lot more but, these are among few places which really capture the essence of Hyderabad. Hope you would like them. 😊

Go to KPHB and try some tiffins and snacks in the evening time. You can different delicacies. You will not regret it. I know is a bit difficult but try to travel in metro it's much convenient with your kids.

If you are running short of pulses or vegetables, you can ask the shopkeeper again for it for free, there is no extra charge. For example: When we go to a shop to eat, we get limited roti or rice but we get vegetables, chutney, pulses for free.

Spicy Rasam is mixed with rice and eten. Most South Indians do enjoy this after sambar&rice and before curd&rice. Sometimes milder rasam is also served to slowly sip and drink before or after meal.

Hey Ian, I have few suggestion regarding how to eat a South Indian thali. 1. Don't mix everything at once in the rice. Mix one item at once in the rice well and sometimes 2 things like dal/rasam/Sambar + Papad/fried curry, curd rice+ pickle/powder. Sometimes we may not like a few items/ may not be cooked properly we can avoid eating them if we don't mix them. 2. Generally order of eating items in thali will be like chapathi /puri+ masala curry --- dal -- curries -- pickle/powders --- sambar & rasam --- curd --- sweet ( ofcourse order varies as per individual taste.) Please don't feel bad if I am telling something you know already. 4:40 That's brinjal and tomato curry. I appreciate that you ate everything in thali without wasting any item. I personally avoid eating some items in the thali if I eat outside. 17:25 North Indians consume less rice so authentic North Indian thali has less rice and they give unlimited/more roti/chapathi. BTW Vincent looks exactly like his mother.

Hi we love watching your vlogs. Also go to any Brahmin mess you will enjoy more , you will get many varieties and it’s authentic cuisine . Rasam should be mixed with rice and eaten after eating dal rice, curry rice and rasam or Sambar should be mixed in the rice the same way you do with curry and dal. That’s the order respectively . And put ghee in dal rice that should be your first portion and there’s science behind eating dal first as it doesn’t spike blood sugar . And always end with curd rice . 😊😊

Subbaiah hotel in Hyderabad is famous for vegetarian meals , they will serve you 25 varieties of vegetarian dishes. You can order what’s called butta bojanam as a parcel from subbaiah hotel and it can be eaten by three to four members.
