Tete de moine is never eaten in slices, that's why they were confused😂 we eat it in very thin roses of cheese, don't know how to explain it better

You can actually get free water at the tons of water fountains which can be found throughout the entire country. it's perfect drinking water quality.

Very nice video! I am very glad that you enjoyed the trip. Pro tip: most often you can ask to try some cheeses before you buy them in the shop. If you are unsure which one to get shop owners are mostly happy to help you choose. The tête de moine isn't actually eaten like normal cheese. In Switzerland there is a special tool to shave off the cheese from the tête de moine and you end up eating the "bouquet" of cheese. This is probably the reason the vendors were confused since it's "inpossible" to eat it properly. With this method the flavour is transported very differently. Also children really enjoy shaving the cheese and having fun with the bouquets. But I guess it's not really possible for a tourist who doesn't have connections with locals to get to try the shaved cheese.

Wow, thanks for this information! We definitely should have asked to try some of the cheeses before buying them.

Traditionally, the tete de moine is not actually eaten that way, but rather in shaved florets

Imagine buying water in Switzerland 😂😂when they have the cleanest free drinking water available everywhere, that's purer, cleaner and healthier than bottled water.

Do they have cheese at Aldi’s as well?
@vici78 ай бұрын
yes. but let me tell you, the quality in aldi or lidel is bad because they have cheap storage and cooling systems in their transporting vans and in their shops. I always buy my food in Coop or Migros. it is more expensive but the food quality is a lot higher. I eat the stuff. so I want good quality!
