2:00 a furrier is someone who makes fur coats. The joke is Archer is so bougie he thought she said 'ferrier' which is a maker of horse shoes.

Ya know, looking back, this is one of the early episodes that shows the good side underneath Archer and makes us start to love the character instead of just loving to hate him. He does have some standards...he has his own code of conduct...and when he's dealing with a vulnerable minor he doesn't take advantage...he just soldiers through the awkwardness and does the right thing. Even though he's rude, selfish, childish and a functional alcoholic...there is a good guy in there who saves being a good guy for the moments that really count. As the show goes on, we see more and more of that, with Archer showing his love of animals, his high literacy, and his vulnerabilities (not just his fear of crocodiles)...and eventually confronting his faults and awkwardly growing out of them (some of them anyway.) Character growth is all over the show...and yet the snappy dialogue never really stops. No wonder its so rewatchable.

This episode was the start of Ray being one of my favorite characters. No matter how phobic I am, gay guys making straight guys uncomfortable is funny. Also, the mountain scene. You would be surprised how bright the moon light is when you get away from all the air pollution of a city.
