I remember watching Swiss railway journeys as a kid on the Travel Channel. What I remember most was the mesmerizing music tracks used when following the trains. Today I have finally traveled some of the railways myself, from Interlaken Ost up to Jungfraujoch.

I love these videos. They're really triggering a lot of childhood memories. When I was a kid in Bern in the 1970s, school excursion or camps would always take you places like this. I remember a day-long walk in summer that ended in Lauterbrunnen. We then spent the night in a tent camp, roasted sausages over the fire, made medieval weapons from sticks and basically returned to monkey for a while. LOL Good times!

First time in this region was in 1969 on a scout trip, just over 10 Sfr to the £ then! Great scenery, great days out, great memories. Have been fortunate to have returned a number of times since and have continued to use the buses, lake steamers and of course the trains, Prima.

We all know the glaciers are retreating, but having been in Grindelwald this year it is shocking to see the difference between the Oberer Grindelwald Glacier in 1997 and now. Makes me incredibly sad. Great TV show this is btw, thanks for the upload!

I love this show, I watched every episode and it helped me loads during a difficult period in my life. these episodes helped my mental health in so many ways. I do hope they bring this back but Thank goodness this channel is here and so I can carry on watching them. Thank you for making me learn things about the trains and the swiss engineering and the beautiful land too but also it was the best ever therapy for my mental health. Bless you.
