SWISSOTEL CLARK - Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines

We stayed at the Swissotel Clark in Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines for only one night before flying out of Clark International Airport to San Francisco International Airport the following day. Wish we could have stayed longer to see what else the hotel has to offer, but definitely enjoyed our short stay here and will return in the future.
The Swissotel Clark is a 5-star hotel and is pristine and beautiful. Staff is very nice and helpful. A security deposit for each night is due up front during check in. Any unused amount upon check out will be refunded to the credit card.
Security is tight. Outside prior to entering the hotel, everyone entering will need to go through security (think of TSA) and are required to put all bags, purses, backpacks, etc., on the conveyer belt to be scanned. You will also have go to through a full body metal detector.
The hotel is connected to a casino where there is an employee at each entrance to the casino. Any person with a backpack is prohibited from entering the casino. On our first outing to see the casino, my husband had worn a backpack and he was denied entry into the casino.
Good wifi connection. There is an underground garage with free parking.
