Mon. Blondeau, I'm a climber and mountaineer and know what getting an adrenaline rush is all about, but this is something so special. You make it look deceptively easy, but I just know that it cannot be so. Like many others have said before, I would really like to see a better quality version of this, I'm sure people would pay. that is a professsionel movie, all what i can say is the one who took the most risk is the cameraman...(danny strasser is a speciallist about filming extrem sports) thank for your analyse fabio ! and i would be happy to make an animation about it ...

Jean slows down and corners using the same principles as a skier. He puts sideways pressure on the wheels which creates friction and lateral force. The sideways friction is so severe it wears the wheels out, see the lines on the road around 58 seconds in. This is also why he jinks left and right when he first comes up to the motorbike when leaving the tunnel, by putting these small "slalom" turns in he rubs off speed in a straight(ish)line.

its amazing how skillfull you are. you make it seem like its easy to do that. i was doing this kinda stuff today lying down on longboard skateboards, and its hard to even move your body withought going out of control going 35 MPH

I do have to admit it, Some fine and good skills with your invention! I still say that it might be a little safer feet first, but I used to ride a head first recumbent bike, and control is really in your head! I hope you do well in this-Great vid, Yves!!

If you get a chance go to some of the roads in Glacier National Park in Montana, USA. Steep, lots of curves and a few good strait-a-ways with tunnels. Should be a challenging trip.
