In the omega store I couldn’t decide between this and the standard dark side. After an hour of going back and forth I decided to use the “which of these is the most SR-71” principle and left with the black black. On the flight home I realized my mistake when I tried to see what time it was. Do I regret my choice? I did for a couple of years but I’m glad I have it now. It’s insanely cool and it’s fun to have people ask about my smartwatch.

Many people don't buy watches to tell the time these days but i like this watch because of the story behind it. Maybe i wouldn't buy this as my only watch but it can definitely be in a watch collection.

The Black Black is surprisingly legible in all but the dimmest light. The date is a bit hard to read, I’ll admit.

Its a gorgeous watch, and yes insanely hard to read. The red stitching should have been on the outside to add a little more pop. I think it would have really stood out with a black metal band in stead of the canvas band.
