Switch incognito - How to avoid ban on Nintendo Switch

Today you will learn how to blank the serial number of your console to avoid getting banned while connected to the internet. We will be using Incognito RCM for this. Incognito RCM is a payload based on Incognito (homebrew) and Lockpick_RCM. I prefer this method over Tinfoil incognito because I find it easier.
Keep in mind though, serial number blanking (Incognito) has been a good method to avoid bans since release, however, we can't know if Nintendo may change something server side in the future which would let them identify your console. Incognito is not 100% safe and, as always, it is your decision to use it or not. Personally I have been using it for more than a year and my console is not banned.

Kinda late but and you prob already know but yes any rcm jig works with SXOS. What the rcm jig does is make the switch boot into RCM (ReCovery Mode), this allows you (the user) to run arbitrary code SXOS is just an custom firmware that allows the execution of homebrew and pirated games If you're talking about the dongle, then it still works, you wont be able to use atmosphère with it though

@@andykilla1319 I wouldn’t really call it advice because I’m not sure what warrants a ban and what doesn’t. All I’ve been doing is using Smash mods online and PKHex save file editing alongside Switch menu theme customization. However it’s important to note that going online with NSPS (pirated games) is an instant ban no matter what. Do what you will with that information.

I also testify with smash mods online and CFW on sysnand....never had any issues because I don't cheat and bought all my games DLC. any games I haven't bought but can play are hidden in a dirty emunand on the same SD card using these.methods. Very sick.set up. Got my PSP N64, PSX and GBA games going too

They could do an update that voids it but I doubt they care too much because at the end of the day, 84 million switches have been sold in 4 years and probably less than 1% of the switch userbase actually use incognito hacks on an emunand to avoid getting banned with CFW and using internet related services that don't involve Nintendo.

@@TGFtsampikos currently I did some research and it might be possible with an atmosphere back up, luckily I used it a lot for my smash mods so if I find a way to get my serial code number tomorrow I should be safe, I had saved my old files just in case I needed to add my smash mods back because the sd card didn’t have much space, I recommend you check your atmosphere file if you have one and see if you have a back up folder that locates your original serial number, or you can do what I heard another guy did and call Nintendo support (without telling them about home brew) and give them your original serial number from the sticker on your console, but I didn’t call Nintendo support because I couldn’t find my sticker on my console since it wore off

You have to create an emuMMC partition on Hekate and then get a hekate.ipl file that allows you to separately access the stock, CFW sysNAND and CFW emuNAND.

I've had a switch since 2019 and have been using hacks on sysNAND for years and never got banned for it because I simply never let any of my console info get sent to Nintendo by not updating the system through their servers, not accessing the EShop and not using any online service whatsoever. Essentially I was already using the Switch like it was a banned console, but that's only because I struggled to set up emuNAND for years until now.

hola bro, tengo un error con mi switch y es que cuando quise actualizarla por daybreak, en vez de poner exfat puse fat 32, se terminó de actualizar pero se apagó la switch inmediatamente despues de eso, y me saltó un error, entonces probé copiar los archivos a mi pc, formatear la sd en fat32 y volver a pasarlos a la sd, pero ahora no prende, espero me puedas ayudar.

Don't use incognito!!! Use exosphere to blank the serial number. Exosphere doesn't permanently alter your serial and it can be reverted at any time without restoring the files. Also use dns mitm to block out the nintendo connections.
