Like three hours ago i turned off my switch by accident and it wouldnt turn on. Since i bought it like a week ago and was already modded, i had no idea what to do to fix it. I watched some tutorials and read some forums, and I finally got it running, just to notice that the homebrew seems to have completely banished from my console 😭 I'm planning on following this video when i have the chance, but i really want to let you know that just by doing a brief overview, i have already learned more than by reading forums where everyone seems to already know everything. Just installed a mod chip on my patched switch using a $10 soldering Amazon kit lol. Just buy a $7 soldering practice kit and fill the board up to get used to the technique & you should be fine if you take your time

Hmm. My biggest issue is that I do want to turn off my Switch from time to time for long travel sessions. I go between America, Germany, and Japan fairly regularly. I'm looking for a way to boot into Atmosphere by default without needing to inject the payload every time my Switch is turned off. I know this video was posted only 7 months ago, but do you or anyone reading this comment know if that is possible at this point? I know in the "Booting Atmosphere CFW and the Homebrew Launcher" section you said I would have to inject the payload every time. But I'm wondering if there is a new way, or something that can be added to the SD card in order to just boot into Atmosphere by default.

5:45 What if you want to retain your save file data in the sd card? Can you back them up later? Edit: nvm i read that saves are saved in system. I guess you can transfer saves to and from emummc by using some mod?

Worked for me 6 months later. Just make sure at the end you don't have "Nintendo" in your sd card and that you're using all the modern most links

If you enable in hekate auto rcm mode in the options, you will not have to use jig to start the payload.

for the new people arriving on this vid that have V2/LITE/OLED consoles!! those were patched , so the jig thing doesnt work so the only way to mod those models, is by installing a chip AKA Hardmod.
