I put two of these in .... if you ever run into this system not working .... mine was reversed positive was negative and so on. Flipped the + and - never had a problem again. Great video bro!! Weird, but this is what the tech said through Apollo Intech!

What fuse slot did you end up using in your fuse panel for the fuse tap after trial and error? Using the panel with the fuse tap hooked to ignition do you still have to hit the main power on the panel every key up? Or is it possible to leave main panel power on to turn on and off with just ignition?

Great video, nice camera work! I was wondering if it would be possible to replace one of the switches with an aftermarket momentary on/off toggle switch? I would like to add a switch for my winch in/out control.

Hey! The switches can easily pop in and out, so I believe you could definitely replace one with a aftermarket one. That said, for a winch in/out, you might would have to run your own wires to the panel since the current switches are 2 stage and that switch would be 3 stage.

You need to remove their fuses as it applies to your application. I replaced every fuse they supplied.

Great video, very well done! Straight forward and easy to follow! Do you know where we can get additional switch plate cover plates? I like some of the unique plates like, Sasquatch, Turn something On, etc...

Thanks! The best place I have found would be this ! www.otrattw.net/Contura-V/ I believe the rockers are the same and will fit this panel no problem, but I haven’t tested so cannot confirm. They appear to be the same standard style

I’m only having 1 problem with this kit. For some reason, mine doesn’t fall on the hook like yours does, it’s getting caught up.

I would say to completey remove the screws and bar from the top of the switch unit and reinstall the screws while holding the unit in place. Before my install, I adjusted the screws so that the bracket fit perfectly in place. But if it's getting caught up for some other reason, then I'm not sure :( Hope you are able to get them working!

Does it block the latch for the Freedom Panel at all? It's a bit hard to tell from the visuals. Kinda looks like it does.

It kinda blocks the bottom, but you can hook your finger around the end and pull it no problem.

If I install this kit and then buy KC HiLites, the KC HiLite wiring comes with a relay. Does this mean I don’t have to use the relay from KC Hi!ites because the switch kit already has relays? Sorry if this is a dumb question lol.

Yes, you should be able to wire the lights directly to the kit without using the relay provided with the KCs, if I am understanding that correctly. This kit eliminates the need for a relay wiring kit, so you would not have to use the one that is provided with the KCs

I like the control box, I am not so fond of the master power for the switch panel. Some of my lights I want to turn on only when the high beams are on others I want on only when my park lights/head lights low beam (fog lights) are on, other things like my air compressor I want on with the key, does this kit provide that function?

No, this panel does not allow for that level of custom setup. Would need to do some DIY

Nice video... does is have a cover on that sqare on the top? Or does it stay open? An open Ning like that so close to the roof makes me worry bout a possible drop falling in there from the freedom top

The hole on the top stays open, and the latch in the freedom top actually slots inside the gap when the top is on ( so it would be hard to DIY one with the top on). I think you have a good point tho, and I will probably DIY a cover for mine if I plan on taking the top off for a while. I don’t believe anything inside could be damaged by water, but it still seems like a good idea to cover it up!

Great video. I would assume not, but does the switch box hit the freedom panel footman's loop latch? Does it make it harder to access it?

Thanks! The latch fits in the gap on the switch panel and is just as easy to open. You just hook you finger on the passenger side end of the latch rather than grabbing it from the bottom.

Mine is in the mail! I just ordered a new front bumper with winch as well. My question is, should I run my winch directly to the battery or run it through the Voswitch or is it possible to do both? If so how? Just wondering what the best/safest setup would be.

Awesome! Im not sure what the best winch setup would be. I would assume that you would need to run the main winch power to the battery, and then the in/out signal wires from the winch to two separate switches on the voswitch. I haven’t attempted that before, so hopefully someone else that has can chime in!

Why not installed a switch panel for a defense systems such as, something to drop spikes if someone is chasing you, maybe even something to push out a lot of smoke if someone is chasing you, maybe a Button to spill oil on road if you are being chase

could it be that you R leaving it on? If you don’t have it set to shut off automatically (with the fuse tap wire I did in the video) then you would need to manually turn off the switch panel when your not using it. Id its not that then im not sure, I haven’t had any issues with mine. Hope you are able to get it working right!!
