Love this video. I just messaged Derek for a similar setup. I had bought the overland Equipped tray with Blue Sea gear and was just going to run that originally, but bent the knee and bought SwitchPro (and....Rigid 20" lightbar and 360 4"). So went a little overboard. Lol. I bet I can use a bunch of the gear on the fuse box I bought for Derek's tray.

Did you put the negative lead off the switch pro directly to the battery or to the negative frame bolt?

I want something like this, but I don't like the switches. I prefer old school big rocker switches. I wish that was an option. Helpful video though.

I had initially looked at doing the CH4x4 factory style switches but didn't like how I would need relays in order to get all of the accessories I have planned. This was a simpler way of attaching them without building a relay mount and having a "birds nest" of wires in the engine bay. Nothing against the factory style switches at all, this just made sense for what I have planned for the truck.

@@Mumfy64 I see your point. I really want those big rockers, like the bluetooth trigger six-shooter style. I actually really like the cheaper rocker switch panels on ebay. I think I'm the only one who likes that look hahaha

Yeah the wireless option is a great solution as well. Plus it gives you a remote rocker panel in the style you’re looking for.

Question Mumfy, the white cord you mention in your video. What if you have aftermarket led light bulbs, does it matter which ever you hook it up with? Can you connect it to your any aftermarket wires from the led headlights?

The new panel has a blank next to the switch panel insert and an extra slot on the bottom. I put the only button on the top of the factory panel on the bottom of the Cali Raised panel. hope that helps.

I don’t have LED headlights on my Tacoma, do you know which wire I’ll need to use to splice the white wire into?

From what I’ve read, you can use the wire that comes out of the side marker light on the projector headlights.

@@HM-vu9zw I’m not sure. I think it might be obvious once you pop the hood and look. The side marker lights should be replaceable and you’ll tap into the wire that is connected to the bulb connector.

the only issue that i have had is a bad wire connection from the controller to the button panel. I contacted Switch pros and got a new wire sent out. No other issues beyond that. It works really well.
