Love the video, dude! Learned a lot from watching! I need one of those Taiwanese knives. I appreciate the shout out too, brother! 🤝

Anytime dude! Btw, I meant to say that white Taiwan stiletto had a bayonet grind, not a dagger grind. Also, that one movie I referenced is 3:15 not 16. :) Peace out bro!

The way I’ve been able to tell the difference between a real and fake is the handle mostly. The real Italian stilettos usually have a more slender, skinnier handle. The Chinese knockoffs always have the fat chunky polymer handles.

Very nice collection. I only own a few knives from Italy but am tempted to pick up a nice shellpuller

Thanks Adam! This is of course just a sampling of my autos. You can see my whole collection in my other videos.

China makes some impressive knives. They don't just make Italian style, they also make Benchmade and Microtech "clones" to use that term. I have a cabinet fill with genuine MT knives that I bought AFTER I bought a plethora of Chinese "copies" that were so impressive I decided I just had to see the real thing! The HEART of all DA OTF knives is the front blade lock. A properly designed, properly manufactured, properly hardened front blade lock is why Microtech knives can be hammered through a 2x4 without damage to the knife. Most OTF knives have tiny "slivers" of steel as blade locks that will buckle under extreme tip pressure. MT lock will never buckle. I'm sure, with enough POUNDING, once could totally destroy a MT knife, but under normal usage such as stabbing through flesh and bone, no MT will ever fail! Same goes for Benchmade Infidel. The Infidel has TWO blade locking ARMS that swing in behind the blade boss - you can literally hammer an Infidel through a hardwood panel door! But they also cost on average, over $450! I do have several Chinese clones that have impressively manufactured blade locks, so they would take a lot of abuse - certainly any normal "stabbing" force - tip pressure.

I love switchblades but they are illegal if you have a blade over 1 /12 inches long and you can’t take them out in public and is a class d felony with punishments being 1-5 years in prison and a $5000 fine

Not the case everywhere. The laws vary by state and country. In my state, you can carry them regardless of blade length.
