Switched from a BMW M1000R Competition Pack to a Yamaha MT09 sp. What do I think?

Keep working on that recovery; you can do it. I love that triple engine's sound; it's so much like the triple engine in my Triumph. I got out today for a few hours. Just so fun.

Great to hear my friend, I had the same exact bike, sold and got the 23 BMW s1000xr, best purchase I’ve ever done. No comparison between the 2 bikes. Absolutely love the BMW. Take care of yourself.

Rode it all day yesterday with buddies.. twistes, highway and this morning-fresh as a daisy 🌼! It’s just so much fun 🤩 while being Uber competent. The engine sound , feel, character is beyond words . Keep at it and you’ll be back in the saddle before you know it 🙏

Hey, now that you've been with the MT-09 SP for a while, how does it compare to the M R? I wrote a while back saying that I have my eyes set on it, but the bar vibrations really worry me. Like how would you compare, how big is the upgrade from the M R to the SP, like do you feel any vibrations at all now? All the best!

If you have your heart set on the BMW M1000r I would recommend you GO-FOR-IT 💪🏼. It is the cream of the crop, an amazing ride that will blow you away. I sold mine because I would never use all the power and after my fall off the stairs and injury, I was contemplating my future health 😅. The vibrations in the bars should not deter you, it can be fixed with new mirrors and bar ends. Now, saying all that, I am having just as much fun and joy on my new MT09 sp for half the price 😊. It is SUCH a great bike. I have not ridden in almost 7 weeks due to my new knee, but I have no regrets or remorse getting the Yamaha. The engine is incredible. Hope this helps 😊
