Great video! Hope you don't mind if I explain a few things in order for your sister too see what you see without out your glasses she would have to wear a very strong plus glasses which would make her eyes look very big and make everything close up look super big and anything far away just so much blur as you do without your glasses what your glasses do is fool your eyes to thinking that everything is closer that's why your glasses make your eyes so small!!! But you girls are great together truly enjoyed this video Thank you both!

I loved this video. I love you girls. Janae you know that you never bothered mentioning your sister's name? I'm a retired optician so you know how much I enjoyed watching this video of you switching glasses attempting to see with each other's glasses on. You're both nearsighted but of course Janae your considerably more nearsighted than your un-named sister. So switching glasses and attempting ot do close up things Janae you had the advantage over your sister trying to see anything through your glasses. Your sisters glasses were just storng enough to allow your eyes to see pretty well close up. But your poor sister didn't stand a chance of seeing anything through your -30.00 lenses. Your sister is right. I'm sure that when she said that she can see better without any glasses rather than trying to see with your glasses she was right. Not having on her -5.50 glasses is better than wearing -30.00 glasses. Your glasses are just too strong for her eyes. Their over correcting her eyes by about -24.50. i'm sure whatever that was that you trying to eat with the fork neither of you were really able to see hardly anything so it more by touch an feel . Janae your glasses are myodisc so much different than your sisters glasses. Your only able to see out of the very center of your lenses. Your sister's glasses you can see out of the whole lens. You were right in telling your sister that she needed to close one eye to even attempt to read anything from that book. Needless to say with your glasses switched neither of you can see anything more than sevedral inches away so looking at anything in the distance would only be a blur to both of you. You both look really cute without your glasses and your sister's right you really do look very attractive wearing her glasses even though you can't even see what you look like wearing them. But they do look cute on you.

What a cool idea. I did these challenges with friends too and it was funny and interesting. Does it make a difference wearing the (weak) glasses of your sister or wearing no glasses at all? I mean do you even notice the -5 of her glasses? Keep on going with videos, nice channel!

If you want her to see what you see you would have to give her strong +'ve glasses (magnifying glasses). Your eyes are strongly +'ve thats why you need strong -'ve glasses. This is why she couldnt focus up close with your glasses like you without your glasses. With that said, she sill would of had really blurry vision so she had an idea of what you see :P

I couldn't believe when you took Janessa's glasses that you asked her if she had cleaned her glasses. Really? Like that was going to make a difference? I'm a retired optician and Janae it was nice that you were concerned about your glasses possibly doing harm to Janessa's eyes due to how strong your glasses are compared to hers. Actually you can switch glasses with each other as often as you want to and for as long as you want to and not harm your sister's eyes at all. She can't see anything except blobs of colors wearing your glasses. Even if she was straining her eyes trying to focus won't harm her eyes. I worked in an optical store with mostly attractive young ladies. Nearly all of them wore glasses. Girls being girls tend to wear each others clothes and jewelry so they would wear each others glasses often times all day. Most young women are nearsighted so it was just a matter of their eyes adjusting a stronger or weaker prescription. They all did much better adjusting to stronger glasses than weaker ones. Janessa you said something very interesting but very true. You said you would do better going without glasses than by wearing Janae's glasses. That's because your eyesight is only at a little over -5.00 which means everything is very blurry without your glasses but still not as bad as trying to see through -30.00 lenses. Now if I were to give you a pair of glasses with say -6.50 or -6.75 lenses in them to wear your eyes would make the adjustment for distance after wearing them a short time. Things in the distance would look extremely sharp and clear but smaller. You would have more difficulty trying to focus on small print close to you. How well, if at all are you able to see messages on your phone without your glasses? By the way i really like your glasses. They look really good on you. You both are very attractive wearing glasses. but as you were switching glasses and had them off I freeze framed at 2:41 to get a good look at both of you without glasses and no wonder why you both look so attractive wearing glasses. it's because your really that attractive. Janessa, even though your glasses are much weaker than Janae's glasses, your glasses aren't by any means weak. You need your glasses fulltime in order to function. I believe you said your prescription was -5.50 / -5.75? That was about 4 years ago. So I'm curious how much if any your prescription has changed since then? You should have been getting close the when your eyes should slowly begin to become stable and stop changing completely.

My dad is a -13 and when I was a child I used to put his glasses on. They used to make the floor look like it was moving around everything was smaller. It was really fun.
