@TheNotoriousCheeto2 жыл бұрын
@@facugaich Um, actually, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is not canon. The events of that movie took place outside the series timelines (the series has more than one). This is why the Rangers did not have the "Great Power" in season three of the show. Instead, to get their ninja powers and zords they had to go on a quest to find Ninjor, creater of the Power Coins. This is distinct from the second movie, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, which is established as having taken place just prior to season five of the series (Power Rangers Turbo). Because Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie took place outside of the series continuity, and had a radically different aesthetic,, storyline, and characters, we can't really say for sure that the Zordon featured in the episode who recruited the Rangers had a robe. We know the evidence is genuine because trapp, obsessed with getting famous from the show begs the documentary host not to reveal the evidence and wrote him off the show. This was also rienforced by the sketch “Please research the person you’re hiring” where it was revealed that the main character of the sketch (I believe played by kale hills) has a desktop background with a picture of pat with his eyes crossed out and a folder titled “how I killed pat cassels and assumed his name”.

I love how Trapp's finger sprouts the Um Actually Vulcan salute at 19:29 as the background AI briefly loses its shit

Uhm Actually. It isnt Sean Connery in 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, it is James Mason who portrays Captain Nemo.

Um Actually, give Zac a point for guessing 'Ken Jennings'. At the time of this episode's airing on youtube, Ken Jennings would have been sharing hosting duties with Mayim Bialik

bit late, but i was upset that Saltzman never jumped in to talk about this

@@leahithink It's possible this episode of UMA was taped before January 11, 2021 (the first modern non-Trebek episode), in which case that wouldn't have been known at taping time. I'm pretty sure there's a LONG lead time here on KZbin because the episodes are exclusive to Dropout first.

Um, Actually, these episodes are filmed months and months in advance, Trebek’s death wouldn’t be publicly known about for a while

Um, Actually, Sean Connery does not play Nemo. He plays Alan Quatermain. Nemo was played by Naseeruddin Shah, who indeed looks a lot like Nemo should. They actually kept the casting reasonably close to the comics, and Alan Moore may be an asshole but he's a pedantic asshole who usually does his research on stuff like this. Though Connery was absolutely wrong for Quatermain, who's a washed-up drug addict in the comic, rather than Connery's manly-man.

Um actually, Mike Trapp Didn't kill Pat Cassels, he was murdered by Chompsky's newly hired head of customer service, "Pat Cassels," who murdered Pat and took his name, framing Trapp in the process

Um, Actually, when talking about SAG and the Michael B. Jordan vs Michael Jordan situation, there's another pair of examples on the list that share a name but one has changed due to the other being first. And that is Michael Keaton and Michael Douglas. Michael Keaton's birth name having been Michael John Douglas.

Um, actually, depth can be measured BY distance. Since distance is merely the measurement of unit that separates point A from point B in a plane. Meaning, depth is just distance measured from up downwards. HOWEVER, the deepest part of our oceans is only 7 miles or about a little over a league deep while the radius of the earth is about 4,000 miles or about 1,000 leagues.

Hitting like 4 times, one for each of the awesome ingredients in this episode. And then twice more for Saltzman and Brennan.
