Switches at My Grandparents' House

I've been waiting quite a while to finally make this video for you guys! There's a lot of cool things lighting-wise and switch-wise at My Grandparents' old house and you get to see them all in this video! From cove lighting, elegant chandeliers, spot lights, exhaust fans, and even Mercury Vapor lights (I think), they're all here! Enjoy!

I don't care if there are NO fans in this place. This is by far the most stunning house I have ever seen! The beige walls with the walnut trim and everything right down to the cove lighting, INCREDIBLE!

And the trim is actually cherry wood, but it’s just faded in some spots because of 30 years of sun exposure

Hiya again - are the can lights made of metal (with coating?) or plastic, please? Looks like they're in excellent condition without any peels or rust!!!

The cans are made from coated metal. And you’ve got a good point, they’ve held up great over time, especially outside, for being 30+ years old!

@@FansOfGames They're so incredibly durable! Did they have incandescent reflector bulbs on them?

Some of them did, but some also had regular incandescents and some had those cfl incandescent combo bulbs, there really wasn’t any consistency 😂

@@FansOfGames Is this in the US or Canada? It's always fun to compare recessed lights from different countries, and it seems we've never had Edison-screwed can lights here in the UK!

11:10 - is the shower light on the same switch as the fan (if the former has not burned out) please?

Yes they are on the same switch. The light is just burnt out like I said so it didn’t come on, but if it weren’t burnt out then it would have come on with the fan.
