Hes very organic when he sings. And jon foreman live is the best performer I have ever seen. Switchfoot was my favorite concert Ive ever been to! He has a good connection with the audience!

According to Wikipedia, Switchfoot is an American alternative rock band that is Christian by faith but disagrees with being labeled as a Christian band by genre. As a Switchfoot fan who can't stand 99% of Christian music, I'd agree. I saw them in concert in Phoenix a few weeks ago with Blue October. He doesn't drop the F bomb. Doesn't make them a Christian band.

Switchfoot is in both markets. Dark Horses was #9 on modern rock charts! They want everyone to listen, not just Christians. For a while between 2004 and 2010, they weren't playing Christian festivals, doing interviews for Christian magazines, and didn't have a Christian record label. They haven't had a Christian label since 2003. If you look at their lyrics, it has themes everyone can relate to. They didn't want to get pegged in some sort of Christian box that would turn people off towards them.

Actually, Jon Foreman (frontman) has been very clear on this point in several interviews. Switchfoot is NOT to be considered as a Christian band. Yes, they are all Christian's, but they do not want their music to be limited to such a narrow demographic. They want their music to touch people of all faiths and I think they do a pretty good job of it.
