Yay this is the exactly video I wanted to see, literally just bought the Rode II mics last week, and followed this channel from the tutorial video. Only for you to say you switched over to the DJI mics. :( -did I fuck up buying rode instead of DJI? Lol

Sorry to disappoint there. I wouldn't say you messed up by buying the Wireless Go II's instead of the DJI Mic 2's. They're still great for what they are. If it fits your budget and what you do, then it's all good. If anything, get yourself a charging case if that makes it easier for you and you still got budget for it. In the end, all these mics are excellent, but for me, DJI Mic's are just easier for my workflow.

The wireless go 2 has 32 bit float also! I agree the DJI mic 2 is still better all round though :D

Sometimes it appears to be heavier than they are on talent's clothing. Looks much nicer with lav or....maybe in hand hahaha

Perhaps you want a setup for your computer and the other for your camera work.

I mostly chose this for ease of use and workflow. Rode wireless pro is excellent too but I was looking to use a different system.

Rode wireless pro would seem better, locking jack, timecode, nicer audio quality, and closes in the case with the windmuffs on 😊 edit: rode lowered the price to 356, and includes two super high quality lavaliers.

I chose the DJI Mic 2 because of its clip-on lock, Bluetooth connectivity, nicer sound quality & natural and pleasant audio, noise reduction function, transparent casing design, and more. Once you've used it, you'll realize how essential it is for convenient work. Although the Rode Wireless Pro has a screen, it lacks touch control, making it inconvenient to operate.
