Ma&Pa 84 is currently on the STRT transfer track in New Freedom, PA

84 will stay in New freedom for some time, you can see her if you haven't ready just RR north of the old PRR station, windows covered and exhaust covered by 5 gallon buckets. She looks very rough after sitting for years on a siding in West York. The train between five forks road crossing and New Freedom has had a train on them in a number of years as well as no track work was done. Much of the ties are gone only the rail remains, only rail bikes and speeders made the trip but since left due to the poor track. The Stewartstown RR has always been on the edge of disappearing but has somehow made it this long.

@@RyanHatterer-Ryanns999 If 84 is even close to operable, IMHO it might be better to lease it to a railroad that will put it into service, use it, and maintain it than to let it sit in the open for an unknown length of time.

@@evanstauffer4470 84 is not in good service condition last time I was down in July. Windows broken, air lines missing, and I don't know how the motor is. Steam into History or Northern Central Railway would be the best but after taking 17 out of service for maintenance they discovered running 4 cars over worked the engine so they are diesel only unless it's a special run in which 17 would be on one end with the diesel doing most of the work... So they don't need a second diesel engine.
