Switching solution of load shedding in grid tied solar system | PV Switching mechanism
Load shedding in Pakistan is a big problem specially in summer season due to electricity short fall. So in this video I present a cheap solution for this particular problem having in any on grid solar system also called grid tied solar system because system is shut down during load shedding hours solar panels gone useless.
I make a switching mechanism with some magnetic contactors ac relays and any off grid solar inverter depends on the consumer usage and capacity or requirement of electrical load like in this video I practically
apply this system on a 5kw on grid solar site where Knox 5KW solar inverter was installed.
In addition I installed a 6KW Tesla solar inverter with NARADA Lithium ion battery.
I practically explain the complete circuit diagram of this PV switching system and also demonstrate and operate on a site.

I have read many articles similer to it, DC and AC coupling. But i was surprised why our engineers were not trying these methods or hiding it from general public to make more money. I congradulate AJ Electric for clear instructions. Please take care while puchasing new off grid inverter, it must match with your required output.

This AC magnetic contactor cannot be recommended for high DC voltage shifting. And there may be a fire.

My dear friend I am from India and I saw your video. Very good explanation but I want to add an extra features that another contactor should place for on grid . The two contactor should be interlock. Because if the relay NC point malfunction then no problem Because both on grid and off grid contactor are interlock. If one operate another off and no fear of malfunction problem. I think that so I write. Ok 👍 best explanation video.

Why to go for all this complication? Why not to opt for good UPS? Usually load shutting is just for 1 hour in 24 hours (worst case scenario) where I live. All this cost and hustle may be justified where there is frequent and long hour load shutting. I think another good topic for your next knowledge sharing video. Keep up the good work!

Brother thanks a lot for your information. We have installed Max power hybrid inverter and Saj on grid inverter. We have problem that Maxpower inverter is giving out put without PV input as battery and wapda connected to it. So when the on grid system starts there is some mixing and both the inverters MCBs trip.
