bigger wheels for bigger frames & people, makes sense right? I need a longer frame cus mien is way too short, I think trek's sizing will requite me to get largest frame they got, but I won't go for trek, cus I want different geo, and seems to be problematic to get warranty here, but my bike is so awful I would need new bike anyway, not replacement of parts, but it seems like they don't want to admit there is a huge problem. but somewhere near 480-500mm reach I guess I will have a good reach number. I am currently at 430mm and knees hit hte bar and fork and even stem at some point, I can see the wear of the stem cap logo, the slogan halfway gone.

Went 29'er in 2013 & never looked back. Although I do have a Verde Theory dj, but that's for building some what I feel are necessary skills for MTBing (I ride it at skate parks & indoor parks. It seems to me that when the BMX riders transfer to MTB they seem to just flourish. They have mad bike handling skills!). When throwing on new rubber, I sit down and place the wheel on a bucket to get it started. For the last stubborn section I'll use tire levers like shoe horns if necessary. Works well for me.

I'll be interested to watch your follow-up on the difference you notice. I love the speed of my 29ers versus what I noticed when I've ridden 27.5s. It looks great in the video. Thanks!

If you start at one end of the tire, work your hands up each side of the wheel rolling the tire onto the rim but also pushing the tire up as you go to work any slack there may be towards the unseated portion. That should make it easier to seat. Hard to explain in text lol. Road bike tires are the worst for seating when new.
