My Ford diesel mechanic only uses original Ford parts so going with ac delco is probably a good idea . If you have a business entity like a LLC or sole proprietor from your state and even if you don't you can go to the chevrolet dealer parts department and tell them you want to open a cash account with them and that you are a trucking and repair business. If approved and it will be , than you can get a 25% discount on everything you buy, when you buy parts always tell them your business name to get discount. Also do the same at your parts store you buy at. I've done that for at least 30 years .

I’ve always used AC Delco filters on my 08 and 19 Duramax but for some reason the last few oil changes there is oil on the outside of the filter. Not enough to leak on the garage floor though. Not sure what is causing this issue. I’ve enjoy your videos and the daily videos too. I hope you figure out the transmission leak and can make the Cali trip next week. Be safe.

My duramax is at 600k nothing but ac/delco 2232 filter. No issues
