In my ford E-450 cab and chassis dually I have no room for a bed... so I guess when I get a job I'll look into buying a used peterbilt 36" or so sleeper...it'll be cheaper than paying for hotels

yesterday I had 2 different birds fly in to my windshield and 2 days ago another one flew about an inch above my windshield and hit my truck .Starting tomorrow 7/7 and for 1 week all across the country will be DOT safety week . DOT will be looking extra for anything not safe and will be randomly pulling over trucks for inspections and violations so watch yourself .

I just spent 5 months looking for a diesel that i could afford. Most around here are farm trucks and abused. I just found a 2016 chevy 2500 with 100k miles. 6.0 gas. paying 19k cash for it. Yeah i know its a gas but i got to start somewhere. drove 20 years otr. i'm done with that. I see a lot of the pilot escort cars here on hwy 82 every day. Never done it but i think to qualify you need a car that will do at least 120 mph. lol. they say it pays good tho. thanks for the vid, i didn't think about getting some wood blocks.

Can do bumper pulls with it but the fifth wheel trailers will wear it out 👍 they super heavy and diesels are pulling four and five mpg on em weight and height of 14 foot tall .. like pulling a big wall behind ya .

Gotta start somewhere. I think like easttexaspatriot said, it will ware out faster. However I usually average about 10 mpg plus or minus depending on terrain and wind.
