I think it's about what people are accustomed to. I switched to a Pixel and it's been quite dreadful. Before reverting to Apple, I'm considering giving Samsung a try, although I'm uncertain about how different the experience will be. My primary gripe with the Pixel was its data management; it creates unnecessary folders, making media retrieval cumbersome. I simply want all my photos and videos consolidated in one location, regardless of their source. If I wish to organize them into specific albums, I prefer to do it manually rather than relying on the phone. I'm not fond of how the Pixel handles downloads from web browsers or apps. When I download a picture or video, I expect it to be saved to my camera roll; likewise, audio files should be accessible in my music app, all while still being available in the Files app. I don't want to spend time searching for where the phone has stored the downloaded file and then attempting to move it to the desired location. The Pixel's software feels somewhat clunky, lacking the refinement and coherence I desire. With that said, does Samsung circumvent these shortcomings? Would you recommend giving Samsung a try or is every android like this?

I got the S24 Plus 512GB in Amber Yellow the Exynos version and for the first time in a long time the Exynos is as good as the snapdragon version. It doesn't heat up it's very snappy no lagging or stottering no nothing and i didn't expected this because of my previous bad experiences with Exynos! I get about 7hrs SOT with battery protection on maximum so it charges the phone until 80% and with that said, the battery life is shocking good for Exynos! But i noticed that it needed a week or 2 to settle for the battery life in the beginning the battery life was so bad that i thought here we go again with Exynos, but now it has the same battery life as my S23 Ultra 512GB Snapdragon gen 2 for galaxy!

@@fboost Got the S24 Ultra now because i wanted the SD chipset and in our country only the S24 Ultra has the SD chipset sadly enough, the S24+ Exynos is good but the battery life not and it heats more up than the S24 Ultra so i sold it and bought the S24U!

Exactly the ultra for me wasn’t the size i just don’t like the boxy look of it and the sharp edges i have the S24+ and love everything about it including screen size i hope your enjoying your new phone I’m with the android gang now after being away from them for years i switched over from the iPhone gang 👍

I have the exynos version. There have been no issues with any of those things, I am very happy with the performance. I haven't played with a snapdragon version. I believe it is generally a bit better but I wonder whether the average user would notice a difference.

i think Exynos is a good processor overall, but Samsung need to optimize the software a bit better, whilst the snapdragon is very good and software optimized, the issue is Samsung charging the same price for the snapdragon and exynos version@@paulweikert4285

Yess it does, the best screen setting gives you the max refresh rate but you can change the refresh rate individually if need be

@@Scbuggz82 I do think you will be getting a good improvement especially in terms of software performance. Since the newer models support more updates. But by all means Samsung is far better in terms of long term proof in comparison to apple. iPhone after 2-3 generations you have to upgrade. It's been better the last few years but still. All to say, yes S24+ from S21 ultra would be a good upgrade.

I despise how blurry the background is on the s24+ photos. If I want portrait mode on, I will turn it on myself. My s9+ is far superior. Also the photos come out extremely grainy. I will return the s24+
