I appreciate everyone that's come to the channel in the last month, we've seen the most growth in the last few weeks than we've seen in a while on the channel and it means a lot. However, I wanted to get something off my chest - lately I've been finding it hard to keep up with the channel, and it's caused an overall lack of disinterest and has shoved my creativity down the drain. I want to start making some fun videos, and it's something I'm going to start incorporating more. It's not that I don't take the channel seriously, but I guess discussing the same phones over and over can get pretty mind-numbing, so bare with me while I find my bearings and look into ways of expanding on the niche I've been in. I love what I do, I can't thank you all enough for allowing me to do this full time, but it has it's pros and cons. Probably time to start hiring an editor. email me here valismind@proton.me with a portfolio, I would like to spend more time on the narrative, and filmmaking, but allow for a new creative take and skill-level in the videos that I myself cannot achieve alone.

When it came time to take a group photo, I set my S23 Ultra on a tripod, checked the focus and joined my family. My sister said she would take the photo because she had the newest iPhone. She placed it on her stand, aimed it and ran to the group. After 3 failed attempts, I told them not to worry, I had multiple photos. They said, No you don't! You've been standing here the whole time. I grabbed my phone and showed everyone the incredible photos. They asked in amazement, How did you do that? I took the s-pen out of my pocket and said, I don't use an iPhone! The S24 ultra is awesome, I actually have it, but you already have an Apple ecosystem, and Apple makes the compatibility of their products with other phones kind of bad, so you should check on that. Rather if you want to keep the ecosystem working altogether smooth and nicely, or you introduce the new amazing and capable phone and have some trouble with the compatibility, its gonna be a good choice.
@Tha-King-Arthur7 ай бұрын
I bought an S24 model because it has so much more to offer than an iPhone according to the know-it-alls on KZbin. And after two weeks I was already tired of the phone. A phone is a phone, and with a phone you call, text or take photos every now and then. I prefer a smooth and pleasant way of working with a good connection to Apple products, than having to fuss with a 3rd party app every time on Android devices. The connections are not optimal at all on Android.. But you will figure this out after a few weeks..

I have the iPhone 14 Pro and S23 Ultra. You will get a mix of love and hate with the S series and OS. Too many times I have my S23U and I experience bugs and I just have to switch back to my 14 Pro. The iPhone just works for me but yes, boring as hell. Bugs: Opaque screen overlay out of nowhere and I can barely see my home screen until I click on a folder to see my apps. Multitasking window pops up out of nowhere but it's just the bar with the arrow and ellipsis. Moving to Android 14 caused my entire phone to reset to factory settings. These things are frustrating to me but when these are not occurring, beautiful phone! I do have a few bugs on my iPhone but nothing major. Hope you enjoy your S24 Ultra, glad you had the power to move away from Apple and their method of staying stale.

Then I decided to give the iPhone 15 a shot, just because. I've not had any significant issues with the switch. At the end of the day for casual users, both Android and iPhone provide very similar basic functionality and capabilities. Messaging. Photography. Internet browsing. Apps. As a fan of the Note lineup, it was disheartening to experience only two years of OS support with my Note 9, which was the final straw for me (improvements have been made since that time). In contrast, Apple's control over iOS updates means I don't have to deal with carrier approval or rollout delays. I had apple my entire life also.. 15 years + I switched to the S24 Ultra And I love it. Obviously, it takes a bit of getting used to.. The only thing I needed to have on my new phone was Apple Music but you can get apple music on android so it all worked out.

I waited and waited for price drop in 2022, so my contract runs out this July. The price should have dropped again for the S24 ultra, so I'll be going from S22 ultra to S24 ultra.

S24 Ultra has the best battery in a Samsung phone. Especially with the recent updates which Samsung is good at. You can never go wrong with S24 Ultra.

This is going to sound stupid but as a middle aged wife and mother, my vision is poor and my iPhone has a magnification app in the control center that I use a lot at work. Is there something like that available on the Galaxy?
@valismindАй бұрын
Yup! There’s an option to enable zoom inside of the accessibility settings - once enabled you can basically drag around the magnifier. Not familiar with how it works on either, the iPhone or the Galaxy as I can’t say I’ve ever used it.

Loss of battery life for sure. Do you have a video on the Pixel 8 I would love to see your review or any comments in general. Kind Regards, Timothy

Hey valis . I am a college student and i have been on Android budget ones since my mother got a samsung touch phone which was grand 2 and next my dad had Galaxy j7 2015 and my last phone my dad's used was A7 2015 and in the 2024 i switched to M53 5g (India and Europe specific phone ) so yeah i have never been a iPhone user but i recently bought a macbook for my college degree and i am studying computer. And also in India we don't use iMessage or Apple Pay we use WhatsApp and Gpay or google pay . So my main Question is should i be on Android or switch to iPhone. Anyone can help. I am a student so apks not available doesn't matter to me.

I hate that theres no native viaual voicemail, there needs to be an app for everything instead of most things working natively, like find friends or ehatever it is on apple. I have to use another app and open it to locate family members. And there are sometimes too many options and setttings fo get lost in and mess up. I have used an 23 ultra for going on 2 years now.

I went from Samsung note 8 to iphone 2020se and now a iphone 13 pro max . I want to go back to android apple quit innovating years ago. Simple things like a number row and symbols aren't on the keyboard. To change any settings you have to back out of the app open system settings and find the app to make changes. Almost no customization. If you want to text him, you either have to go through a labor process to make your own or you have to pay for one.

I’ve mostly been a iPhone user since day one, would like to try android again, but I think I had trouble with accessing my iTunes library, Apple wanted me to pay to every month to access it on android so I’m back with locked down iPhone, if anyone know away around that I would probably go back to android.

It’s strange here in Scotland, despite Apple probably being the most popular, iMessage or FaceTime are rarely used, most people use WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. Again when I used Android I used Google Pay and not Samsung Pay, never had any issues with Google Pay whatsoever.

I used Snapchat three years ago and decided to swap from iPhone to Samsung S21 ultra and I remember the experience with Snapchat being straight up terrible. Honestly, Instagram wasn't any better. I think the S21 was the year when Samsung said to begin developing social media apps but the experience wasn't there just yet. I wonder how would my experience be like now with S24 phones. I don't use Snapchat anymore and I barely use any social media apart from reddit and youtube.

I really don’t understand why what’s app is not more commonly used here in Canada. It’s Multiplatform, free. Why lock your msg app into your phone carrier? Most other countries use it a lot in Asia and Europe, not only for personal , but many business also.

Switched from an iphone 12 to s24, its definitely taken a while to switch over, but Im glad i did it.. finding alternatives makes you really think about spending the extra money Apple charges, also for people that have kids with cell phones, androids are way cheaper. So when they lose them or break them whatever it doesnt hurt as much
@johngewald7 ай бұрын
For me it’s a “no switch” to Samsung because of the agenda app on the iPhone. It works so extremely well if you both are on a iPhone. The Samsung is a great device, so don’t understand me wrong, but Google Agenda, in my oppinion, on an iPhone is not the way an agenda app should work. Stock agenda on an iPhone is simply great.

Been an apple user since iPhone 5 tried yo switch multiple times with s6 edge. Then again from Back to 7 plus after 2 years switched back to note 20 ultra but I dropped it and then I couldn't get it fixed so I traded it for a Iphone 12 pro max still stuck on apple using the 14 pro max as my social media phone while using a mid range andriod phone at the beginning I felt like 2 phones were a good solution as I kept switching back and forth but as of now Im tired of using 2 phones. Is s24 ultra really that good to switch and never look back again to apple cause I have been unsuccessful in my previous attempts plus I have never used imsg in my life also use Spotify for music. The people that have switched pls voice your concerns and opinions

I was an apple user for last 7+ years. Now have switched to S24U and I am pleasantly surprised. Apple somehow dumbs down the user and incremental benefit each passing year has been non-existent. I just love the S Pen.. take drawing lessons using the same.

I switched to android last year with a Pixel 7 and I love it, but I do want to go back... mainly because I want to get a macbook air and those apple watches sure look nice. My favorite thing about switching to Android was the very noticeable amount of time I stopped using my phone. I abused the hell out of my iPhone 8 mainly with nonsense games, with android for some reason... none of that. Everything on my Pixel works just fine except for Bleacher Report. Its an app I use quite a bit while watching basketball games and getting into it with people in the live chat. It's horrible on Android. Everything else is fine. I love how clean it looks too... maybe I'll stay for a bit.

My first smartphone was a Nokia Windows phone which I used until I found out they were going to stop making them. To help me choose between Apple and Android I asked people what they didn't like about their phone. My first Android was a Samsung Galaxy Lite and one day out walking I saw one of my carrier's stores and went in. While waiting for the clerk I started looking at LG phones and ended up switching smartphone brands. Through the years I've used mostly LG phones including their non-smartphones. Last year, 2023, I got my second Galaxy phone and found it to be a disappointment compared to the first one I used. Some of the features I enjoyed using on Samsung have been removed.🤦🏽♂️

3:17 how precisely is RCS more secure than iMessage? What? as far as I’m aware, Apple iMessage and Signal messenger are the only two messaging platforms that offer quantum safe and end encryption. Googles implementation of RCS is not that. It is encrypted, but I don’t think it’s more secure than iMessage.
