Thank you, pal. I have heard that the QC45 copes very bad against wind noise. That's why I am waiting for a firmware update from Bose. I got so annoyed that you can't turn the ANC off that I personally send Bose a mail about these issues. Most of the things they have done (like not adjustable ANC, bad microphone quality, and no EQ) are acceptable, but if it can't block annoying wind noise like the QC 35 ii on low ANC mode could, they are next to useless. I just hope they fix these issues, especially the wind noise issue. As I told them, if they want me as a customer and buy the headphone from them, fix these problems.

Though call quality sounds good. I have had no complaints when on calls with people using my QC 45

Currently I have the Sony 1000XM4's, but am considering whether to get Bose QC45s or not...As far as call/mic quality - it may be that the QC45's have a bad call quality, but I actually can't use my XM4s for calls either. Every time I use the XM4s on a phone call or on discord, I always get complaints that my voice isn't very clear and/or sounds very far away and often people are asking me to repeat myself. I wouldn't therefore say that the Sony XM4s are any better than the Bose QC45s for calls and I certainly don't ever use my XM4s for any type of call because of it.

I've had the QuietComfort QC20 noise canceling earbuds for 7 years and they are incredible. I also just purchased the Qc45 headphones, which I love. One thing about the QC20 is that they don't have any cabin pressure like the Qc45, QC35ll, and the QC25. That said, the ANC isn't quite as good as their over the ear cousins. I use the QC20's with an LG V60, which has an awesome 32-bit Hi-Fi QuadDAC, which transforms them. Bose really respects their customers. I've sent my QC20 earbuds in twice to get the battery replaced. They charged me $9.95, and replaced them with a brand-new product. If I were choosing between the Qc45 and the Sony's, I'd get the Qc45 because of build quality and customer service.

I just bought a pair of QC45. The mic definitely has a problem. I have to raise my voice quite a bit in order for the other side to hear me clearly. And my voice quality is not good. Apple Airpods are waaaaay better for calls.

i have the xm4 and brok the hinge after 3 months of use with careful use , are u kidding me sony!! bose qc35 which i use for 3 year has a solid built quality regretting buying sony, bose qc45 no doubt better built quality.

The Bose headphones look very upmarket and high quality of finish compared to the Sony.

bose QC45 bass so very flat ... headphone jack the sound is very low compared to wireless Bose QC45... when wired suppose to sound better and louder... the only thing I like is QC45 More comfortable...

Bose is way better with sound and with soundstage and way better noise canceling don’t is terrible
