My brother had this with manual in 2009. I loved this car we called it idombolo. Pity, it was cloned and had a twin car with similar number plates that terrorized Pretoria North homes.

ClubSport manual gave a serious chase of RS3 in some twisties in Eastern Cape of our boy's road trip.....In fact, RS3 eventually surrendered but I was the one who blamed the RS3 driver coz with just S3 I did show CS my rearview from tollgate to Hatfield

9:11 its called torque steer hence you only get proper traction in 3rd gear.

No traction issues are due to non lsd differential.. torque steer is the motor steering the car.. nothing to do with traction mate.

Even with its original engine power of 155kw it still showed signs of needing LSD to minimize that torque steer.

The solution to suspension is KW's. I went from HR SS to full coilovers and it is much better, Zero floating after 100MPH and a much better ride--Just the KW 1 which is what I got, nonadjustable

with better fueling you can get 320kw out of a stock k04. Ive seen people do it

220 to the wheels. So convert that to crank and it will be significantly higher as a Stage 3 GTI should. Should be just under 300kW. There's a difference to kW to wheels & to crank

@@SwitchOffSouthAfrica I know the difference and there is not a chance that that Drivetrain loses 80kw through the drivetrain. The Golf R will lose between 20 and 25% whereas the FWD golf will lose significantly less about 8 to 10% due to less moving gears and linkages. 220kw wheel or crank is low for a properly setup K04. I know because I have a golf 6 gti with a properly setup K04 and I dyno 285kw to the wheels. With FBO. My mate has an Audi TT mk2 CCZ motor also K04 which dynos 319 wow with meth and octane booster.

Ultimate Performance has tuned tons of stage 2 gtis that make 220kw at the wheels either that car is stage 2 or the tuner doesn't know what they're doing.

Ya fully agree, my Mk6 K04 (APR front to back) on crappy 91 octane USA gas is making around 240Kw and 490Nm of torque at the wheels on a pretty conservative tune. There is no way no how he is losing that from the crank to the wheels. Just sounds like they are not really sure of the numbers.
