Been looking for a new multuplayer game to play with my friend in short bursts. The bug butcher fits the bill as we used to play super pang and metal slug, apparently can be played with a single joycon each. 2 pounds on the eshop as well, what a find.

Since I got my Switch in early 2018, my collection is at about 400 physical games 😵‍💫 Still playing on my OG Switch though, as I was holding out for a Switch 2 or something. Turnip Boy is great; I picked it up awhile ago and would say it's worth the current price. But I get that balancing playtime and value is subjective, still I do recommend picking it up when it gets to a price you're happy with.

Seems like lots of cozy games on sale. Sometimes i wish I could just lose myself into those endless games (Stardew Valley, Monster Hunter, roguelites, etc.) but as long as I'm aware of my backlog my mind won't let me play something that doesn't progress to its inevitable end 😅. However, there are other games on that list that I'm yet to get/play. *Gamedec* - I sort of hold off on it after you guys had done your initial review and it was free on Epic couple weeks later so yay me! And of course *Trifox* that I'm yet to get but I can't shake its comparison to Crash Bandicoot 3 for some reason. Very tempting!

Hmm I have some of these games already. Maybe I should go back to playing more of Cozy Grove, Okami, BotW and Immortals. Cozy Grove didn't really felt like Animal Crossing, missing too many parts for me that makes it feel like AC. Still an interesting game on its own if you're into chill mission things.

It is interesting how many games feature a fox as the main character. Just in the last year there's been Trifox, Tunic and Super Lucky's Tale. Plus there's been a bunch of fox-adjacent characters introduced, too like the red panda in Aka or Hanna the tanuki in Lunistice. If one searches "fox" on the eShop, there's six or seven titles that feature a fox in the title itself. People think it's all about the cats and dogs but the foxes are making their move.

Eversince I discovered this channel I have had a blast looking for games that I would watch next. You guys have been consistent about the new games releases, game reviews, and the overall easygoing attitude of channel which gives people new to gaming and veteran alike a nice space to appreciate games. Keep it up, SwitchUp! I'll definitely still watch your videos once I can get my own switch instead of borrowing my brother's.
