Played the game on steam from early access to release and I have decimated my entire island of all buildings and trees and am excited to do it with this release as well. Get a good podcast on deck and strap in for the ride :) Cheers and good luck. edit: also the inventory space wont be a problem very quick as bag upgrades and perk upgrades would eventually allow you to fully carry contents of a house (including walls) in your pockets hahaha

I have this on PC and have very much enjoyed it. I was worried about how it would port over, small text, terrible graphics, etc. Was worried it would be Mutant Year Zero all over again. With your review I feel like $20 for this is a steal. Will most likely be picking this one up in the near future.

Aha! Found it! The review I was looking for. Tyvm. I have been keeping an eye on this one for a while now and really like the gameplay I've been seeing. I will probably pick this up when I can. Accessibility options are important to me so its a huge plus! I wish game developers took more volume options into consideration. Separating ambient sounds, BGM and Sound FX would be ideal. For example, I often find myself having trouble hearing things like enemy movements or sounds they make versus my character's foot steps and weapon noises.

Bought this a while ago and I'm having a great time with it. The game world is huge, there is always stuff to do and smashing things to pieces is satisfying in its own way. Perfect pick up and play game, both shorter and longer sessions work. The type of game you can spend dozens of hours on if it's up your alley. I think sales would really benefit from a free demo version.

Thanks for highlighting this game in a previous video I decided to take the plunge and buy it on Monday mainly for the co-op my girlfriend and I were playing It and having fun it doesn't reinvent the wheel but it's a solid game. I noticed slight dips but only for a short time a vast majority it's been a smooth experience.

Got it, love it. It is a game I need now. Just running around a world with no people, just dumb targets. Whilst unmaking/ dismantling all signs of humanity and working towards making an area totally devoid of all life, unlife/mutants and everything

A seperate hard survival mode/perma-death mode would be welcome but the fact i won't be having to eat, drink and sleep all the time in the main game will be a welcome change. I always find these games therapeutic but the eat/drink/sleep cycle gets a bit annoying. This sounds perfect.

This is the first reviewed game I have watched on Azdin's channel and I was sold from the start. Zombie survival definitely is my type of game. I enjoy the look and feel of the game play, and it reminded me slightly of Project Zomboid. This is absolutely getting added to my backlog.

Been playing this for the past few days and loving it (26 hours so far, but I've only seen about 1/4 of the Island I think). Especially enjoy that you can be stealthy to an extent. The only notable issue I've seen is stuttery frame rate in areas/times of day with lots of shadows. Admittedly I changed both shadows and camera zoom settings from the defaults to slightly more demanding ones - but IMO the default camera is far too zoomed in to be useful and "no shadows" should never be the default. Like you, I would like to see some settings to increase difficulty, but to some extent you can keep the game a bit more challenging by not increasing your HP via upgrades/food/equipment.

I laughed when I got to a campsite and sat there for a few minutes and heard the music creeping in. I squealed “hey that’s from SwitchUp!” The whole game is a pleasant surprise! Like others, it was an impulse buy for me when you mentioned it on the upcoming April RPGs video, don’t regret it!

@@InnerRise it’s royalty free music, as long as they credit the artist and get permission (because it’s being sold in the game) it can be used. Which is why SWITCHUP can use it because they do the videos for non profit. That’s the loosest term I think 🤔😅😂

I picked this up last night and have to agree with your review. My bugbear is the text size and poor controls for the camera. But in saying that, this is still a fun game. A great blend of fighting, survival, farming etc journeys which I've had a lot of fun with so far.

I played 10tons’s Jydge in coop and loved the whole thing. That game had awesome mechanics where different skills would change the game from a dual stick shooter into a stealth game. I am interested in this one. I am adding to my wishlist. :)

Co-op was so fun. I can play with my brother through this post apocalyptic theme big area in search for way out of this big island full of monster. Crafting mechanic and scavenging was good, reminds me of last of us.If only they add little bit of voice act, that would be great.

This game is Awesome for only 20 Euro. Only saw it for 1 min in your other video and I love it, couch co-op with my girlfriend is so nice. Defenitely recommend. Thanx for showing me tis pearl in the previous video. Love you guys. ( have +- 20 hours in only 2 days)

@@odys3803 So quick review from me. I got the game. Played over 3 hours and it's getting boring. I got into it thinking it might be a bit more like Project Zomboid or a cool survival game. It's not. Just run around whack everything with a crowbar, gather materials, upgrade gear, whack different stuff with a crowbar. Get different materials, upgrade and keep whacking. Feels a bit like an old Facebook game.

@@Uszat89 yeah, I did some research while avoiding spoilers, there are dungeons with puzzles and some bunker defence, that's 2 activities/quests/events whatever you'd call it outside the grindy game loop. You can build 5 things 2 of which are for making material 2 are turrets and than there are sandbags. Like said, I'll wait for the DLCs to roll out. For the price it's not entirely bad but they don't have a road map for the DLCs, that can be just some cosmetics, so that's not really an added value but it's not what I was hoping and or looking for.

So you cannot build your house or build defenses? Yo can only upgrade your backpack and tool, not even make fire weapons?

You wouldn't actually want to build a house/defenses in this game, since the goal is to eventually escape from the island. You spend the entire game moving into new and different areas, destroying everything you can. Once in awhile you go back to an older area with upgraded gear in order to destroy the things you couldn't get earlier for more resources (or to accomplish a mission, etc), but this isn't a "dig in and survive" type of game. It's a "keep on the move and destroy everything you see" game instead. I love both types of games, but they play quite differently.
