I was fortunate enough to actually visit here, and The Matterhorn and the Youth Hostel Interlokken (kind of forgot the spelling). So beautiful!

How did you captured footage this clear? What camera did you used? Was is mounted outside of the cabin?

I find it quite amazing that a single journey takes approx 30 minutes, the length of the ride is 3480 metres, or 2.162 miles which means the speed is 4.47 mph which is barely above walking pace. Looking at this vlog I would say that the gondola is travelling way faster than that. I would welcome other opinions on this subject because it is quite puzzling to me.

IDK where you got the 3480 meters from, but from Zermatt to Trockener Steg (the first smaller cabin gondola) is 4228 meters long. Then the second Gonola from Trockener Steg to Klein Matterhorn is another 3765 meters. Considering that within the stations you slow down quite a lot, makes the speed of the Gondola way above walking speed.

C'es absolument incroyable, impensable : on croit rêver.... On croit qu'on est enfin arrivé, mais non, on repart pour une autre ascension, et on a l'impression que ça ne finit jamais ! On est devant son écran, mais on en a le souffle coupé ! Bien plus impressionnant en hiver sous la neige, qu'au printemps ou en été sur l'herbe à vaches ! D'autant que là, on a une idée du parcours des pistes pour les skieurs qu'on peut voir évoluer. Mais une caméra sans micro, c'est dommage...
