The church was amazing the art work was beautiful 😍 the stained glass windows are my favourite. I collect postcards of them when I can they don't seem to do it everywhere anymore, which is sad.. did you see if anyone had your jacket on the last boat? ❤❤❤❤XXXXX

You have opened my eyes to Switzerland. I am in love with Lucerne!! Especially the walking only (I think) streets and shop areas. Sorry about Britt's jacket. It's such an icky feeling to have your stuff stolen, and right under your noses!! Lesson learned! As I said in another of my comments, the river is so beautiful, clean, and a beautiful color. I was surprised at the prices for dining out. Holy cow! Can't complain when you see the offerings at the super market! Tomorrow the top of the world!!

Another beautiful video. Sorry about your jacket but the new one is very nice too. Staying positive is hard when someone takes advantage of you but I hope whoever has it, needed it and uses it. That it wasn't just taken to see whats in your pockets. OR Maybe it will get turned into a lost and found??? You usually have decent luck, the go pro/camera put by the bathroom, the microphone on the beach. Never know, fingers crossed. Anyways enough about that. I’m so sad about your jacket. My mom told me in college to never borrow anything. My mom borrowed a dress, wore it to a Catillian Ball , said “it got ruined from cleaners”. So my mom ruined her friend’s dress. That’s why my mom said to me “never borrow anything, you never know what’s going to happen”. So sad. My mom told me , I should lend if someone is in need but I should try not to borrow. Ugh. Such a shame. I would be so sick and upset . So sad. The Chapelbridge was over 700Years old , when it completely burnt down in 1993 only the Guardtower in the middle survived. The Bridge was Part of the City's Defenses already in the 14th Century and the Tower was the "Gatetower" for the Guards. Because it wasn't really needed in it's Function as a Bridge anymore anyways, Discussions arose if it just should be left behind as a Ruin. Another Idea was to replace it with a modern Steel and Glass Bridge, and the 3rd Idea was to rebuild it as close to the Original as somehow possible, which, as you can see then was done for 3 Million Francs.

I'm so sorry to hear about your jacket that was stolen. I always wanted to go to Switzerland and in 2000 had the opportunity. We spent a month in Israel/Egypt/Greece and Switzerland. I remember the Chapel Bridge and we bought chestnuts while there and sat down eating them and just admiring EVERYTHING. Ended up going from the Dead Sea to the Alps on Mount Pilatus and the Cog Railway at Mount Pilatus was amazing. Enjoy the rest of your journey.

My wife and I and our 3 kids lived in Italy for 4 years traveled all over Europe. Never leave things without keeping your eyes on it. Advice I can give you. People seem nice but you’ll be scammed or something will be stolen right out from under you.

Snow looked like it was Mt Pilatus. That's worth a trip up there for the view back at Lake Luzern. I'm guessing you will see enough mountains though since it sounds like the next stop is Interlaken and the Jungfraujoch. The boat from Brienz to Interlaken is the way to go!! Personally I think Barcelona is third worst - Naples, particularly at the main train station is even worse, and Rome particularly at the Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain is worst of all.

Great question, since it was a hot and we were taking a lot of photos and videos we all laid our stuff down, and the castle is positioned in a way where you can see anyone coming (99% of the time it was just us). One of us was always next to it though, except for literally the 1 minute we all turned our backs to the castle to get a picture in front of it and that's when it got stolen. When we returned the jacket was gone and there was a groundskeeper right where it was 😔
