I can tell that you really put a lot of planning into this part of your trip Having been to Switzerland many times, I found that you can miss quite a bit if you don't do your homework (last time my son and I rented a car to bounce around) There are plus and minuses to a car, I think next time it'll be train and stay in my favorite places longer.
