Hi Marion, I gotta hand it to you again. This is another of your vids that is absolutely on point. It is the perfect rebuttal to smart ass foreigners (many of whom have never been to Singapore) who tell me that there is absolutely nothing to do in Singapore (and if there is, it's too expensive).

As a tourist who has been visiting Singapore for 20+ years, one of the non-tourist, but very educational things I love to do (when it’s raining) is visit the City Gallery on Maxwell Road, and see the Master Plan! Learn all about Singapore’s urban infrastructure, past, present and future. The scale models of the City are awesome, along with all the interactive displays.

you missed out wetland and kelong visit and haw par villa and all the museums in the civic district, science centre, chinese and japanese garden. fort canning, freemanson lodge and their restaurant, central fire station museum etc.

@ ohh yes sure: Hawkers: - Newton Hawker - Lau Pa Sat - Maxwell Hawker - East Coast Lagoon Village - Tiong Bahru Market - Frog Porridge at a local Coffeeshop (chinatown or Geylang have good ones) Beaches: - Tanjong Beach - Siloso Besch - Palawan Beach Let me know if you have more questions!

curious since you've been living there for 2 years, have you gone on a tour to see raffles lighthouse? i highly recommend it also if you love beaches go to sisters' island or lazarus island, it's way better than the sentosa beaches!

last time they have a daily cruise trip to those outlying islands , should check it out. Also used to have a cheng he junk boat cruise to nowhere , its a restaurant. just some idea for you, not sure they are still around or available.

Doby Gaut MRT walk to National Museum, free, then Fort Caning Park, free, then the other side is Clarke Quay already, walk then to Boat quay, then Raffles Place, or walk all the way along river to Robertson Quay... Etc...can walk whole day...
