Also what kind of levers did you use on your 08 sm610?, appreciate your videos and your response bro, sick ass bikes!!

so i give the specs in that vid, its got a combo of a shorty Honda red lever and what they call an "easy clutch" which is device that runs inline and gives you huge leverage on the clutch cable pull. I'd say this combo reduced the pull by 50-75% which is big cause these are a bitch on the arm

@@motardyoda I’m gonna order it right now man I appreciate you responding, the “ easy clutch “ is a universal type too I’m assuming? I’m sure you know how hard it is to find parts for this bike so your one of the few who did some sick mods.

@@ricardocamacho4153 As I recall, I had to mod the easy clutch a bit cause the cable ends didn't fit perfectly. Another tip is to fill the easy clutch with a heavy grease, maybe axle grease, to keep it smooth and reduce wear. But it wasn't hard to fit and worth the effort. Remember too if your bike has the decomp lever mounted on the clutch, you'll need to locate another spot to mount it up. I think you can see where I put mine in the vid. As for parts, we have a few places here in the states but i'm not sure where u at?

@@nickcap748 dude, I think I saw your post in our group on fb... so here's the deal. Parts for these are hard to come by. Halls, Bills, they're a couple of places you can try but really, its tricky. These bikes are finicky and if you don't get the rebuild right, it won't work. I have two, I rebuild them every 6-8 k to avoid issues like you have. So don't go into this half way. If you want it right, get it all done. That means lower cam bearing and maybe even the shaft if its messed up. how is the top end? Head, piston, rings, con rod. Valves? Oil pump? And don't forget the water pump, timing chain and tranny. If the bike has low miles, like under 8 k, most of it should be okay. But over time, all of these components need to be replaced, just part of owning a racing bike. Currently I have two of these, I can give you more info if you hit me up on Instagram under this user name, motardyoda. The two things to remember about these bikes. First, they're finicky and like a trophy wife, require a lot of attention. Second, they will make you happy so worth it :)

Hey can you tell me what kind of air filter you put on your SM610 . You removed air filter box and put a nice filter on it
@motardyoda3 жыл бұрын
its a K/N, Universal. They make a range of them with different widths so measure your intake manifold outer diameter to get one that fits snug. I run one on my Sm701 too, very simple but highly effective.
