Key start. The true FS was only made in 2011, a few in 2012 but both years have keyed ignitions. I had a 2010 FE570 and it did NOT have a key..

Thats what I thought but turns out it’s the little tabs on the cap. They got pushed down and the cap was never secure so when riding i saw it unscrewing. Used pliers to crimp them down and now the cap is super snug 💪

@@motardyoda glad you got it sorted out. Simple issues like that can drive a person insane. My wrx was over boosting causing fuel cut, hours and hours with the tuner, data logging, and frustration and it turns out when i replaced all the vac lines, i used the wrong restrictor pill, glad it was solved but mad that something so small was causing all of that irritation

I am thought the same for a minute but the coolant was clean as was my oil. And surprisingly the coolant was not too hot, like I’ve been able to fit the cap on immediately after it comes loose which means it’s not too hot. It was just those little tabs needing to be pushed down again, the ones on the cap.

@@motardyoda have you pressure tested for our system? You could have a small hole somewhere allowing pressure into your system. Or the threading for your cap is messed up and it can't fully lock into place. Idk this is a weird one

Oh yeah, I just had to lift it off. Turns out the tabs on the cap got too wide. Pliers for the🏆

The speed limit for the entire run is 35 with most hairpins 10-15 so with the PoPo lurking, u gotta be careful. Super speeder here is a license looser for a yr. I always run the 12 miles under 11 minutes and thats having to deal with at least 5-10 vehicles not to mention half the run has blind curves. And when its this crowded like this day? extremely limiting for higher speeds.

@@motardyoda I guess it would just depend on how far you want to push your limits. The roads I ride on in NC/SC border usually don’t have police because there’s nowhere for them to go but if we pass them we just keep going since they don’t mind 90% of the time. Just depends on the road layout but alot of the time we just blast through traffic sometimes on wheelies, hard on the brakes and go knee down into corners blind or not. I’ve never ridden this road so fair point.

We do have some rds where the popo don't go yeah, its def throttle twisted fun with very little traffic too. Just not as fun like Wolf Gap. This one runs along side Blood Mtn with only one way in and one way out so you're trapped if they're in there. I know at least 5 spots they sit in pockets and then radio ahead to another car waiting so we have to make a recon run first time through to make sure she's empty 🤣 GSP does not mess around, they use choppers on Blood so if you go there, eyes in the sky for sure. If you've been to Tail of the Dragon, its very similar
