Hey Ola, I’m 43 years old. I’ve been tattooing for 25 years and playing guitar for 30 the ergonomically stool you just put together is definitely going to help you out. I literally have a chair that’s almost identical to that. It has helped me so much I keep shredding brother.

You are absolutely right. Ergonomical stool and desk, and one can test standing/walking (on a treadmill) work station too, but sometimes these are just not enough. I have all kinds of things broken in my back and I'm in constant neuropathic pain, plus my legs goes numb if I sit in same position a longer time. So I've become a bit expert on this chair and work desk business :) The thing is to change you position. Do not sit back straight like they forced us to sit in school 40 years ago, but instead sometimes just chill and relax on your chair. Remember to wiggle your legs, shoulder and neck every now and then. Get up every 30-60mins, fetch some coffee or something or just walk around. If you have disc issues in your back, just make sure not to lean on the side where the issue is. Paradoxically because of this, the best chair for me is not an ergonomic one but one of these big leather chairs with a lot of paddings. I have the freedom to lean this way or that. This is so comfortable I've fallen in sleep many times on this :)

Good move on the desk, I have had spine surgery and can't sit long either. I have a standing desk with the motorized control so I can bring it up and down. Made my life a lot easier so when I'm in my studio, I can not be an excruciating pain and actually trying to get something done. I've had to set up going on 3 years now and I would never change it.

I've been having the same issue with my back and hip this year too. There was about a month or 6 weeks where I couldn't sit or lie down for more than 5 mins. Driving was agony! I couldn't feel my left leg for about a week. Thankfully its eased of mostly.
