apparently he needs a disclaimer that says "this is just a trailer for the premium vid." bc ppl keep either 1. complaining that they aren't getting enough info or 2. asking questions that he answers in the premium vids. just appreciate what he decides to share for free or man up and get premium!

Hey Steve my gym does not allow barbell squats, my only options for legs are a bunch of leg presses, Smith Squats and some Squat Machines, as well as leg extensions and leg curls. Is it still worth to work my legs or are squats a truly must ?

question for someone: I have a hard time with legs, not because I neglect them, but because they take so much out of me that I can't do the volume I should be doing
@kaibe5241
@kaibe5241 11 жыл бұрын
Go lighter then. If you can't finish it, go a little bit lighter :) Also make sure you have the required energy and nutrition to see it through. Legs contain the largest muscles in the body that they require a shitload of energy, protein and oxygen (most important!) to see them through. As a result, you need to make sure that oxygen is getting to where it needs to be. I could be wrong here (someone correct me if needs be) but I think this is what NO is for (nitrogen oxide). Taking that pre-workout, along with a good diet should help. I have a different problem - my knees hate it, but I'm slowly getting on top of it :)

If u have time and if can put afford into it u can do legs in two sessions on the leg day or u do them on two different days of the week. Split quads and hamstrings for example
@joesefr.7756
@joesefr.7756 10 жыл бұрын
Half the volume of your leg workout and share it between two days of the week, less pain, more frequent stimulation
@6789uiop
@6789uiop 10 жыл бұрын
Same. Must have more type 1 slow twitch fiber types than type 2. Type 1 muscle is slow to build and tires slowly. Type 2 builds better and burns the ATP faster. So, I'm going back to 2x a week but one day will be heavy compounds and the other high volume hypertrophy for the type 1 muscles.
@joesefr.7756
@joesefr.7756 10 жыл бұрын
Actually your slow twitch fibres don't tire faster there sole purpose is for endurance, if your leg workouts tire yoi out you probably just have poor cardiovascular fitness. And all NO suppliments do is give you a pump and fill you with caffiene, healthier to not use.

You say that you have more muscles in quadriceps, this is no diss or hate, just a correction :) quads = 4 muscles like you said. But you also got 4 muscles on the back. Biceps is two and then you have semimembranosus and semitendinosus!

Give it up already. Me saying he isn't perfect means he isn't above criticism, which you and some others seem to think he is. Who wants to see 10 minutes of a guy working out? Those who want to be inspired to workout when they see "trainer edition". His personal vlogs, the "non-trainer-editions", are where you find his personality (which I actually do find those vlogs enjoyable). I get it. You don't agree with me. I'm happy for you.

Yeah, old time A&P talking here but the hamstrings are 3 muscles, making a muscle group: the semitendonosis, semimembranosis and biceps femoris. Forgive my spelling I did not consult google first.
