i m newbie in the game and i m playing with spear and is awesome fast to farm camps in mist the survival is good, can run away from gankers very quick, and in pvp is good too xd

One question, I'm about to hit 100 in my first weapon and excited to level up others. If I don't want to turn on auto-respec (feels a bit early for me to do on EU), is it better to just to equip the new weapon and grind out in T5 yellow? Also, is it cleverer to try and kill 2 birds here? Equip new weapon + Skinning clothing, then I'm making money whilst leveling up new weapon. I assume Hide Animal Poison is the damage dealer here anyway so weapon doesn't matter too much for efficiency.

It depends on the weapon. If the weapon has lots of AoE options then no reason to this early if you don't have the economy, but look at it like this: Having 100 mastery in armor, helm, boots, and weapon will let you farm up an entire 2nd set of gear with an 80% bonus. Having max spec and mastery on a whole set is a 160% exp bonus. If you funnel all the combat fame credits into a single thing it's even more. I personally can't stand grinding 12-16 hours to max out a weapon so I'd rather just take the L on the silver but if you're brand, BRAND new you gotta secure your econ first before worrying about weapon spec and mastery. Having max spec in armor and weapons is more of a "for funzies" thing and doesn't really give you dividends on earnings later like gathering, islands, and investments will. On EU I raced to buy the panthers the very second I could and now they're on market average worth 400k more than when I bought into them. If I focused entirely on econ I coulda bought 7-8 panthers and flipped them for 400k more each making me 3.2m for just seconds worth of buying and selling on the market. The sooner you start pumping laborers and islands the better off you'll be but SBI did change the cost to make guilds and guild islands so this is more of a slow / long term silver strategy. Getting premium ASAP lets you start growing crops which is free silver for almost no time investment. But really if you don't enjoy any of the econ crap just spec up some sets you like and go smash players with it.

@@SwoleBenji Thanks for the detailed reply. All that makes sense (I think), brain overloaded trying to absorb so much information this week. I'm a day one WOW player taking my first break, and it's been a hell of a long-time since Star Wars Galaxies, so getting used to this type of game is going to take a while. I'll focus more on the money making I think then, as you said, the fun stuff will be much easier to get going on if I get that bit right first. I can see you don't like doing anything slowly, saw your video comparing leveling up with a new weapon vs using existing + auto respec last night, you didn't look happy, and you really didn't like wasting time in the black zone mists in another, so I completely get that setting your character up right to make everything else easier is the play.

Last one, without getting too much into it with so much going on, at the very least, get an island sorted and start growing comps then? I've bought premium for a month, I like giving some money back to the devs when I've put time into their game and feel they deserve it.

Bro I tried gathering in Bridgewatch zones for hide yesterday. In 3 hours I got killed 10x and barely broke even lol. I wouldn't reccomend it unless you are from Bridgewatch faction. 😂

From i experince on Eu first week everyone doing faction including myself. Itz good method on maxing out a set but if you maximize the shadowcaller build you good to go for solo static runs on yz. Edit:If you playing long term like me mercenary labories is considered good way for investment when doing statics

Wouldn't the normal fire staff do more damage because of its E ability being on a lower cooldown and the same damage as the wildfire staff?
